Man, I hate this screen.

    Finally got a response from ea, same response as someone posted before. Thy are obviously just sending out a textbook response that doesn't help. Hopefully they are actually looking for a solution and not believing that their response solutions will actually fix this. I also hope they will be compensating us for the valentines items we are missing, if not they are even worse than I thought.

    What a joke! People invest lots if time and money into this game and they can't even give you a proper response! I don't think I want to play this when it finally fixes because it will only be a matter if time until the next crash/bug :-(

    Has there been any official announcement as to an actual problem? Or does EA think this is a small problem and will disappear? Its been 12 days for me. Getting to the point that I really dont care if I ever play again. * poor customer service for a part of the game that is a timed event.

    After telling them there auto response wasbt going to fix this problem I received this today:

    It's sad that the suggested troubleshooting steps didn't work for you. In fact, these should have worked. I genuinely apologize that the matter has remained unresolved. The issue looks a lot more complicated than we thought initially and would require following information before I escalate the case up to our specialist team.

    1. The game's current version
    2. Your EA/Origin screen name and corresponding email address

    I'll also need the device's details (you can find these under settings>general>about)

    1. Device type and generation
    2. Modem firmware
    3. Memory Capacity
    4. Number of applications
    5. Used memory and available memory
    6. Error message (if any)

    Thanks so much for your cooperation. Once I hear back from you, I'll bump your case up to the next level.

    Not sure how this will help with sounds like another auto response but we will see.

    As you might know (or learn it now) a few days ago the Android version just came out. Although I've read that there are problems with Origin there and no Valentine's Update(?), I wonder if someone who has an account on his iOS Device tried to use that account on his Android, maybe then it will load and you can finish the bugged quests or whatever the problem is and continue on your iOS Device.

    I will try this later, just need to find an Android somewhere.

    Regarding my last comment trying an Android, Tried it yesterday and sadly it doesn't work because no Origin was implemented in the Android version - also no V-Day Update there. I don't see how they could release the game like that because when Origin will be implemented (probably on the 28th of Feb. with the new update) they will have to start from scratch... and there is a whole new problem if you already purchased some Donuts.

    So until the 28th of Feb, no chance for a patch or nothing... And I'm not even that sure that it will work afterwards either.

    Still get the blocked out even after the update today :( think im about done with this game.

    It's been day 3 for me and this "Man, I Hate this screen" loop. I cannot get in and it's so frustrating.

    Please don't let EA waste your time telling you this is a device problem! It's an account/game problem.

    My fiance? hasn't been able to play for about a week but I can play just fine. She gets the recurring Bart error screen.

    I can log in just fine on both my iPad 2 and iPhone 5, but when she logs in on either of my devices the same problem occurs. Once she's logged in I have to uninstall and reinstall the app so that I can log her out and re-login as me.

    Spyderman, any answer as to how you got back in?

    I am so frustrated.

    Thank you Matttye for letting us know that it's not the device. I am guessing that maybe there is still more maintenance being done, but I mean, this is ridiculous. I've been playing the game regularly since October and have NEVER seen it like this. Any new information?

    I saw that my Daughter got the level 26 update so I tried mine and it was back to normal. SO sorry that you guys have not had the same thing. :(

    Great news. I'm back.
    I followed some advice from a troubleshooting board.

    I closed every app i had opened. Deleted Tapped Out. Shut off phone. Restarted phone, re-Installed Tapped Out, there was an update and then it let me back in!
