    The thing is its the simple and basic things that often let ea down, you're right in that they are a good games company and make good games (including this one), but it's things like servers that let them down. On this forum you always see threads of people complaining of all the crashing and "cannot connect to server", and if you have FIFA on Xbox or ps3 you know the servers are the same there. And all it would take to fix would be to buy some more server space

    Capitalism results in companies putting profits before people. As the lemonade stand analogy suggests, the company wishing to maximise profit favours the paying majority of the complaining minority.

    Some people get disgruntled by huge companies that ignore their needs.

    However, if you argue that the customer is always right, then you are arguing that because of your financial contribution, you deserve to have influence of the company and/or product. That suggests that money should entitle you to power.

    Perhaps capitalism is so hegemonic that even if it annoys us, we cannot think outside of it.

    A lot of the debate comes down to whether it is possible to separate the value attached to a product from the values attached to its means of production.

    First of all, I only make fun of things to try to amuse people, and I highly doubt that EA is getting the respect it deserves for creating this game. I know, the customer service is terrible, but think of it like this;

    You run a lemonade stand, and are selling lemonade to about 40 people. Then there is a small percentage that enjoys the lemonade, and buys more. The other percent is complaining, one about the fact that the that the dropped the lemonade dropped on the ground ( game got deleted), and want a full refund, and another that just don't like it ( crashes), because it has to much lemon, or not enough. Wouldn't just be easier to get all the money to buy another big bottle of lemondenade and the cups all at once ( whatever EA needs to run the game, like servers), instead of tending to each individual person?

    Now think of tending to each individual person in the world that plays this game. That would be impossible, and everyone will just keep complaining until their game is perfect. Now think about that the next time you go ranting about how bad EA is.

    P.S, if you need another topic explained about how EA isn't a bad company, pm me and I'll add it

    P.P.S, the nork thread was an exact example NOT to do if you want to, over time, help out EA with the problems, even though it will never be perfect, in fact, no game I know of doesn't have a problem or two, and EA went above and BEYOND making this game, it's got features NO other game has.

    If your running a lemonade stand and have to buy a bottle of lemonade then you really shouldn't be running a lemonade stand. No wonder people are complaining. If you open one and give me bottled lemonade I will punch you in the face.

    I hope people understand that a company is not built to make jobs, it is built to make money. As a owner of a company I do care about my employees, but if I do not make money the company will have to shut down.

    The bottom line for ANY profit company is profit. Without profit the company cannot survive.

    America was built on Capitalism. This is why we thrived for so many years.

    Wow. I'm amazed that everyone's playing the silent game because I'm defending a company you all somehow hate. :thumbdown: :hunf:
    I wouldn't hate them if I could actually log into the game. I thought overall they've done a good job

    There's a line between profit and greed though. EA is not a company that is struggling to make money, this game alone, which I though was fairly minor in income since it was just a mobile game made $20 million in just the last quarter of 2012.

    So really there is no reason why they have failed to fix the simple and inexpensive bugs in the game (such as servers)
