I bought Little Lisa's Recycling Plant today, so I could spend less time with people in the railyard. I didn't realize how packed my beach was until I found the only place I could place it was in front of Jay G's mansion. I guess I will need to do so work on my beach area.
If by some miracle Tapped Out offers a rebate on that building in the near future, I'll be purchasing that as well.

Now I just need to remember to tap on it so I get the blueprints.

I bought it a while back and had to buy a new plot of land for it because my boardwalk was blocking all the land it could have gone on, and I didn't want to alter my squidport in any way. Of course the new land was all the way at the bottom, aka one of the most expensive plots at the time, 600K if I remember correctly!

I broke my Rail Yard habit. I haven't done it for a couple months now. I just didn't have time, and then I started forgetting, and now I don't feel that urge to do it and honestly it's nice not to worry about it. I have so many track pieces and donuts are easy to acquire.
Make Nightmare Pile like Zombie Sandwich. All kids trick or treat at once.

I'm strongly considering joining you there, @bluntcard. To be honest, its been nothing but a pain lately, and for what? I earn a lot more then that every day with a lot less aggravation, so why bother? I even tried letting little lisas recycling plant do the bulk of the work this week, and while nice, I'm still left to scramble if I want to finish.

Doing the rail yard during this event isn't so bad as long as you aren't currently sending characters on those Weird Al tasks. That's why I'm diligently trying to get as much of the rail yard done before the hip-hop stage is finished building because that's when those tasks will kick back in for act 3.
I only have been having trouble in my crawl town although I'm getting closer to done. Main town I pretty much finished before Als thing kicked in. Also I had enough donuts (freemium) in my crawl town so I bought Jesse to help since it's always the railyard people who are needed for other tasks during events.

This post proved something of a trigger for me. I’ve been continuing with the Rail Yard tasks largely out of habit, but as of this week I’m quitting.
Well further to my post suggesting I was gonna give it up for at least six weeks until after the event, it looks like I'll be joining the rest of you in giving it up permanently, Where's Maggie has taken a back seat also, especially as she's needed on Hip-Hop and I can't be mithered doing it inbetween event task recycles... and with Sideshow you already on the side lines, it's looking like I'm gonna be getting very close to the end of this game for me

I missed this.... Awesome! Congrats!!! Good job!!!
I'm skipping again this week.
Will I lose my metal, plastic, glass, and whatever is in the dump if I store them?

I just tried with the glass depot and I still had the 15 glass once I took it back out, so you should be fine storing it.

I would buy it with a rebate also....

That's how many donuts a week?
