I'm afraid to build the Wiggum house, I guess I'll just be expanding my land until I get a confirmation that the harp freeze is fixed. Ugh!

    I haven't had any problems with Ralph so far... what's the deal with this ''harp freeze''?

    That's a great idea! If I had heard of the harp problem beforehand I would've done the same :\ can't do anything but wait it out now...

    I'm pretty new, started playing in December and started lurking on the forum in January. From what I've read your screen will freeze after building the Wiggum house or El Chemestri (sp?) and a harp sound starts playing.
    I'm beyond irritated with the fact that EA seems to not give a crap about the players of this game. I mean they can't even post an announcement saying they are working on the problem?? Ive read that they have made millions of dollars since releasing the game last summer, and they don't have the resources to keep us all informed? Grrrrrr :evil:

    I've built the wiggam house and sent Ralph on tasks just fine.

    With the Ralph/El Chemistri update a ton of users (including myself) had their games freeze. Upon restarting we are now stuck in the load screen with a "harp sound" playing continuously. Uninstalling and installing doesn't work, loading in and out of Origin doesn't work, even the "trick" that's going around of letting the harp sound play for 15+ mins doesn't work. It's up to EA now to come up with a patch to fix it but they're taking their sweet time with TSTO problems...as usual.

    From what I hear the freeze happens after the Wiggum house or El Chemestri. I'm not going to chance the freeze, ill just visit neighbors and stock up on money until I know for sure that the glitch is fixed.
    Jagath, maybe you are one of the lucky ones and won't be affected :D

    Got the Harpmaggedon from Burns Manor, but luckily i found out from this forum how to shovel it, and get 1050 free donuts out of it to, only spending a total of 45 min doing so :mrgreen:

    Please tell me what harpamagedon is. I am only on level 16 so does this effect me at all?

    Search "harp glitch" or "harp freeze". People are coming up with multiple names for the same problem. It's getting confusing for the new forum members.

    1050 free donuts? Are you serious? I was locked out of my town for 3 months (it got wiped) and I got zero compensation. They even lied and said that I'd be able to get the limited time content that I missed out on during that time, which I didn't.

    Me too, but then again I did have 2 weeks when I couldn't play because if the level 26 crash

    I've built both, and not had any problems logging in.

    I thought the harp freeze was caused by if you kept using the level up donut thing?
