It's hard to say, but the best way to be sure is to post daily.
I posted once in an add friends thread in Dec. Then I posted everyday since last Friday when I got the harpies and was promoted today. Like the wise zuzu says, its probably constant activity driven.
Just be active :-) I've posted about 300 times in the last month but there are others who have just been promoted who have only posted about 30-40 in the last month :-) so just stay active and your time will come

I got my promotion a little earlier this month, for some reason. My avatar is the dog with the shifty eyes!
