To grind or not to grind? Hearts that is

Prev1
Is anyone else in the same boat? I can't decided if I should grind my hearts or save them til the 28th gambling on the idea that there might be something better.

Saving. Gonna cash em all in on the 27th if we dont get something good.

I don't think there will be anything else on offer, the heart grinder is provided to get rid of surplus of hearts for cash.
That's what EA way of getting rid of the surplus before the update.

It might be worth it getting at least a few thousand $ a time, but the most you can get is $1000 so not worth it imo. I'm just going to wait til the end and spent mine on decorations or if something better comes

Sounds like the heart grinder is EAs way to use the hearts. Ill keep my hearts until the 27th anyway just to see if there's anything better coming out, but I'm wondering if its better to use the heart grinder or to sell things like the Choo Choo Choose You train. I get 1000 from selling the train and could get 1000 from 20 hearts. I'm leaning towards the heart grinder.

I emptied out 320 hearts last night. I bought a few decor items I wanted and grinded the rest. I don't see them adding something else, as it would create backlash from those that used it. By the way, you can get $250, $500, $750 or $1000. Out of the 10-12 grinds I hit the $1000 about a third of the time, $500 another third, and split 1/3 between the $250 and $750.

Every train costs 100 hearts and selling them gives you 1k, but if you grind those 100 hearts you can grind 5 times, and every grind you get at least $250. Which gives you a minimum profit of $1250 and it is more than 1k.

There is a new option in game to "grind" hearts, for 20 hearts gives you randomly $250, $500, $750 or $1000

Dropped about 200 hearts just to see how it worked. Now saving til we get close to the 28th and see what happens. Of all the valentine decor I still like the rose bushes...at least they aren't heart shaped and reusable.

Im doing a bit of everything, using hearts for cash, but considering the rose bushes and trees add some color and the trees look similar to apple trees, ill buy a few trees too.

There is a chance there could be one that gives out donuts, just think EA could have given out this one that only gives out money first, to get people to give up all/most of their hearts, then when the donut one comes, EA will only have to pay out less donuts, because most of people's hearts have gone

I'm spending them on rose bushes, arches and trees to decorate my town. The monetary value would need to be a lot higher to persuade me to grind.

Although, I do love the concept of a heart 'grinder' after all the romance of valentines!

Well I don't want to here any complaining when they update and they didn't grind for money. The grinder is basically instead of the doughnut bag. I think they lost out on doughnut sales last time so they made it money this time round. So I would grind them before you lose your hearts
