OLD-PLEASE USE LATEST POLL - Harp crash! Have you been able to get back in?

Haven't got an iPhone 5, only 4. Has anyone got any suggestions on other ways to fix the crash? Pleaseeee haha

I have an ipad 2 and tried leaving the app on the loading screen for 20 mins. I just kept getting kicked out, I tired at least 20times. Then after reading on here realised I could load game on my iPhone 4S so loaded the game and left it with the harp singing for 20mins and it worked!!! I'm back in the game once I reloaded it back on my ipad it was working fine.

Since crashing last Friday after building Wiggums house, I've been trying this "fix" for a week on my iPad2, my husband's iPod Touch 4(I think it's 4), and for last 2 days on his new iPad4. The auto lock is set to "never". It runs for at least 30 minutes (the harp noise gets quicker as the time passes), but it HAS NOT WORKED. I created a case last Friday AND STILL HAVE NOT HEARD from EA.

Come on EA, get your act together. You have messed up the update, now FIX it! We built El Chemistri. We made level 26. Now FIX THIS! At least acknowledge the problem!!

i finally waited 15 mins, and now i gotta deal with the bonus level up. Can't i get to my town and not worry bout the * donuts? dear god!!!

I kept the game loading for about 20 minutes then got in...after I dealt with the level up bonus donut game. I guess receiving a thousand free donuts helped make me feel better about the wait....

I have an iphone 4. The first time I tried it, it didn't work and I left it running for about 15 minutes.

Tried again based on suggestions in this forum. Left it running for about 30 minutes and it finally logged me back in. No great amazing bonuses but at least I have the game back. Now to catch up!

Don't get your hopes up people the fix method does work. I have an iPhone 4S and an iPad 3 and it took me almost a week of trying and it finally worked for me today. I just kept running the game and letting it harp loop and when it went back to home screen I did it again. It finally opened for me today on my ipad and I had the doughnut glitch pop too and got almost 1000 free doughnuts. In the words of homer WOHOO!!!

Now that I'm back... accepting level 26 friends. Lost a bunch during this crash.

Again the iPhone 5 fix... broke the Harp of Death and it looks as if the cause was indeed the 120000/120000 XP issue.

A week on and still can't connect!!!
Still stuck on the harps. Have tried turning off screen lock and leaving it on. Using 4s & 3rd gen iPad does not work for me, I don't have access to an iphone 5.

Fat cat EA must be laughing.

So this morning i loaded up the app expecting to get the harps, but was amazed to be back in my springfield! Got only a few donuts which were level up donuts not 60....90 odd others have posted.

Hi everyone, need help here with my simpsons, I have the same exact problem, I tried to wait 15 minutes but it doesn't work, I don't have Iphone 5, I'm playing in Iphone 4s, I tried to erase the game a few times, reinstall it, waiting 15, 20 minutes, entering through another Iphone 4s but nothing works, what can I do? Thanks!!

Can EA supply us all with an iPhone 5 so we can play the game we have all invested so much time and in some cases money!!!
An acknowledgement by EA of the issue, would be a start!

My game finally loaded after over two weeks!!! No free donuts but glad I'm able to finally play again!!!

I have a Iphone 4s and have been locked out for over a week. I've tried everything I found on the net to fix it but no such luck. Got myself a Ipad today and downloaded the app and it let me straight in. I can now play on my phone again too. Not quite sure if it was something I did or if EA have actually fixed the problem but I'm just happy to be playing again.

I also could enter today, I don't know how, everything went normal as always, it asked me for my origin username and that's all, at last it seems it has been fixed!

Back in!!! No donut bonus. Missed all the money. But it looks like someone finally fixed it. Did not use the iPhone 5. Have an iPad 3.
