Harped 2nd time

Just happened to me too for the second time.

It seems to occur as soon as you hit the bonus level. Time to borrow an iPhone 5 again... Maybe I'll be able to get the donut glitch again, which would make it worth it

Leveled up, clicked on a thumbs up and hit collect and it froze

I have had Harpies once, and I got back in with an iPhone 5, hundreds of donuts thing, and I have gotten one bonus level since then with no second Harp Glitch.

I'm interested to know, has anyone who's gotten Harpies twice, gotten the hundreds of bonus levels/donuts thing, or did you just get back in randomly with no huge donut bonus?

Edit: Sorry, reading comprehension, I just realised Redgedunlop said 'again', so he must have gotten the large donut bonus the first time. That makes a second Harp Glitch seem quite random then...

I got like 100 donuts when I got back in (another player unlocked my game on their device). leveled up the next day and I'm back to the harps.

Only 100 donuts? I got, like, 900! I maxed out the bonus levels, then it crashed. Maybe the people who have gotten Harpies a second time didn't stay on and collect enough bonus levels? Redgedunlop, how many donuts did you get? Anyone else get it a second time, with low or high bonus donut numbers? Anyone who got a high number leveled up with no second Harpies?

I didn't unlock it myself, someone else did, so it's possible that they closed out of the game before it was done, but I've seen people say they didn't get any when they got back in. I was able to play for a day and a half or so, it was once el chemistry finished building that triggered a level up and locked me out again.

Ah, so it was probably building another quest building that gave you Harpies a second time? Gamblor, did you build another quest building after getting Harpies the first time? Anyone else?

Got the Harp Freeze of Death after completing Wiggum house. Once I finally got back in days later (via iPhone 5, thanks to guidance from this board), I made sure to level up before completing El Chemistri, which, like the Wiggum house, gave me an absurd amount of xp points upon completion. Only after leveling up, and getting three bonus Donuts, did i complete El Chemistri. And while I did manage to avoid Harpmaggedon: The Sequel, the next time I entered my Springfield, I lost the three bonus Donuts and my xp point total was cut in half. But I haven't had a problem since, so small price to pay, IMHO.

Just to get a clearer picture, can anyone else post their experience?

1. Did you get Harpies a Second time?

2a. If Yes, was it after building another quest building, or not?

2b. If No, had you already built all the quest buildings, or did you get the bonus level first, then build?

3. How many bonus donuts (approx.) after the first glitch did you get?

I ended up with 3 bonus donuts when I originally got back in, leveled up last night and didn't catch Harpies, was kind of looking forward to getting lucky with donuts. Maybe cause I solely play on ipad

Did you build a quest building when you leveled up, or had you already gotten El Chemistri?

It was after I built Hibbert's Practice. 2nd level up last night I sold and bought Bart's Treehouse. So maybe it's specifically tied to quest builds? I'm building Burns Manor next but far from the 120,000xp

I've read somewhere on here it has happened after building Burns Manor, Wiggums, and El Chemistri, maybe have to add Hibbert's to that list as well.. Let us know how you go after building Burns Manor, fingers crossed!

So there seems to be two factors at play in NOT getting the Harp Glitch a second time, (or even a first time):

1. Waiting to level up, before building completion of Hibbert's Practice, Burns Manor, Wiggum's or El Chemistri. (Or else, having all buildings completed)

2. Having had a large donut haul the first time. (around 900 or so)

Does anyone else have any experience to add that either supports this, or denies it?

Harped is awesome, I got locked out for a couple of hours and got 750 donuts out of it, totally worth it I hope it happens again!!!

I was level 26 with all quest buildings completed when I was harped. Was halfway through building escalator. Happened just after I maxed out XP and got 3 donut bonus. Locked out for 3 days and just got back in after loading on iPhone 4S. No donut bonus when I got back in. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen again!

I got harpies twice - first time after building the wiggum house and leveling up - got back in got a bunch of donuts - 2nd time when building el Chemistri leveled me up, got back in - no extra donuts, just FYI!

So how long had you had El Chemistri for? Before getting Harpies, I mean?

Yeah, people seem to be saying no extra donuts on the second Harp Freeze...which device was it, both times, Zoe?
