Is anyone saving a monster for Act 2?

Prev1
Stumped on this one. I have half of Lewd left (the light mana) and finished the Act ages ago but don't know whether to keep him since fighting him seems to pay out more. Will we still be able to finish him in the next Act?

I was thinking this way I might be able to save a monster over to Act 3 because it seems we only get one then. Am I wrong? Should I just finish him?

  • I still have Lewd left and treestache so I'll be saving them.
    Here have a banana!!
  • With nothing better to do I have completed all the beasts capture, charm and release including the 3 premium ones and all the associated quest lines. No idea if it was better to save them. Too late now :#

  • I bought Wiggops and finished him. Might get Treestauche to save...but to be honest don't think we need to save any because you finish each act with 5+ days left anyways. Only reason to save is to have something else to do I suppose.
  • I assumed all the monsters would escape and you have to capture them again in act 2.
  • We are getting 1 monster at the start of act 2 Crawl and I have a feeling the tamed ones will start earning act 2 currency with the start of the act . So I would suggest setting them on their 4 hour the night before hoping act 2 starts in the middle of the night for an early jump on act 2 currency.

  • The monsters still pay 100 wands after you release them. I don't remember what we got from sending 4 characters (even if they were all premium).

200 wands. I saved Lewd and Treestache in hope of earning more by enchanting than them being released.
  • nah I'd rather have the decos.
  • I saved half of the tree.
  • I just finished the last one today. What I'll get in currency by releasing them is good enough for me.

This event itbseems the crafting currency is harder to come by so I finished them all so they would produce both types of currency
  • Also don't forget to save your daily challenges as well.

  • Good to know I'm not the only one then. Hopefully it pays off. I never know when work/life gets hectic so like to stay ahead of the game.

I was saving them even before the event ;)

  • Nope. I just completed my 5th and final one this morning.
  • I like to finish monsters off with my wand. Because then they turn around and give me their wands in gratitude. That's what a magic circle is all about.

What kind of payout did you get for the challenges you saved prior to the event starting?

    Only 200 wands - I stupidly didn't switch them because I didn't know you could get 600. I got over-excited.
  • Yes in saving a monster it's called loneliness. He was going to hang out with sadness but I chased him away, now loneliness is all I got.
    He likes tacos though.

Are you aloud to just take your wand out in public and wave it around like that?
