This sides a lot better and think i'm going to use it this way. Also how many squares is in size.
All the shadows work, seems it was meant for that orientation. Once I have the towers, it should start to look pretty good. Not sure of its size, @Castiel19x , I’ll count....pretty sure that they’re the same as the Bararian Castle pieces, except taller, I played with swapping them around. Send me a friend request, if you’d like, Castiel.
That's alright then. I've sent you a friend request @brogames111

Him: "What are you doing home so early?"
Her: "I'm sorry honey, I was let go because I forgot to switch the shading on one side of a THOH craftable."
Him: "That doesn't sound so bad. You can fix that in the next patch."
Her: "I also had it misaligned by a half of a square."
Him: "Misaligned? Half a SQUARE?!? It's like I don't even KNOW you anymore, Brenda!!! Don't you realize that thousands upon thousands of people are designing their towns around this craftable?!? That's it, I'm taking our newborn baby and moving away. Don't ask where."
Ya know the other castle gates and walls are like that also. The way Brogames has it is the way castles are designed. They arn't flush along the front. The gates and towers bump out from the face.

Thanks, Hatchet. The Barbarian Castle pieces are exactly the same, except taller, and no one had an issue with them. ...just sayin’.

They have a little bit of red trim at the bottom that lined up with the face of the walls. The walls it self don't line up.

Not quite understanding you. The walls are a tile narrower than then the gates, but I think that the gates and towers were designed to be set forward. That way the shadowing works, and will work in both orientations. This would be a great discussion in The SF Showcase, it’s a excellent resource for getting feedback, ideas, and suggestions...and very underutilized,in my humble opinion.
I think this was how it was designed to fit. At least, that's how I instantly set mine up. Seemed to make sense this way, especially if you also use the towers in the design (which also protrude).

Brenda: "But Jake..."
Jake: "I said DON'T! ASK! WHERE!"

I thought that was the issue in the original post!
