Tapped out - The Vestige Pt. 3

Hello,

I am stuck in trying to progress in the 3rd Act of the Halloween event. I am required to battle with Lord Mortymort 3 times. When I click on the ruins the event dialogue box comes up noting that Lord Mortymort has recovered, but nothing happens when I click on the Done box. I have tried reinstalling the game and resyncing but nothing works.

Any suggestions?

  • I'm also having this issue. Totally stuck. I also tried going to Krustyland and neighbors (this has helped in past) but no luck. Says Montymort is "done" but tapping it doesn't do anything. Hoping someone knows a fix.
  • I have the same issue. Tried all the mobile app troubleshooting tips. Restart. Reinstalled. No joy .
    Called ea and got no satisfaction. Problem still ongoing

    Iirc, live chat is only available in certain areas and even within those areas only at certain times of the day.

  • I, too, have this issue. Burns is just at the "done" button that doesn't function. Hoping its fixed before too much time passes. Not sure what they will ding us for donuts to make Lord Montymort a functional character if we don't have enough time to finish the quest.

  • I also can’t complete the vestige part 3. Montymount is stuck on done. I am haveing the problem on an iPhone 6 with iOS 11
  • My issue has been escalated by EA to the "specialists." Has anyone gotten this issue fixed by talking to EA, or do you think this will need a patch? With only 9 days left, I am worried I won't be able to complete/keep the character.

  • Update: After defeating Montymort four times, when he was small, then big, then small, then big, the status has changed to 1/3 and he's slumbering now. Surely that's a bug? That would require 60 hours to complete the task (4×4 hours of battle, plus 4 hours of slumber 3 times)

  • 72 hours... no contact from EA (they say they will respond in 72 hours... apparently, that doesn't count weekends). Same issue. Lord Montymort stuck, hit the "Done" button but nothing happens. At this point (according to the Vestige PT. 3 count), I don't think there is enough time to actually complete the quest any longer. Odd that there is several versions of this issue and nothing mentioned in most forums/TSTO, etc... Not sure how many are actually affected by the bug.

    I didn't get response either. They just closed my issue without any comment.
    Apparently they are just waiting for the event to be over and this issue to go away by itself.

  • I'm having the same issue, I've defeated Lord Montymort 2/3 times, but now he's stuck on "Done". I contacted EA support and was told to post on the forums and wait for a fix, so it sounds like we're stuck waiting for a patch.
  • Same, have defeated him once and it’s been stuck on “Done” since yesterday. Can’t click the button. Troubleshooting doesn’t fix it.
