Do you delete neighbors??

Prev13
I delete people that obviously gave up on the game and stopped building, and are a reasonably low level. After a few weeks though...

One week is plenty for me. Out of my 100 I haven't had that happen but three times though.

I deleted people who haven't played in a week. However with the Harp of Death effecting so many people if they are on level 26 I don't delete them because they probably are unable to play.

I deleted someone who'd not only stopped playing but had wiped their whole city bar the Simpson's house (some kind of strange protest?) and someone else this week who clearly hadn't done anything since Xmas - though even then it was only because of real-world friends who wanted to add me.

I have deleted some neighbors. *
I started playing just before the Valentine's update, and added friends from "please add me for Valentines" threads. If they weren't sending me Valentines and if their Springfield was wiped clean every time I visited, I dropped them to make room for other players who were asking for hearts. I suppose I will be less callous now, but I enjoy seeing my neighbors' towns grow so someone who doesn't play daily (or, um... obsessively, like me) might not be such a good match.

    *Sorry!!!!

I deleted a bunch today, not because I didn't like the towns or they were inactive, but I just couldn't manage to visit 100 towns every day without having to rush through and not enjoy it. I want to get down to around 50 towns. I think I can actually enjoy looking at 50 towns and watching them grow and change. I don't think I will grow to 100 friends again. I did it for the Valentine's hearts, but ended up with way more hearts than I needed, so I am guessing that the next quest should be doable with around 50.

Deleting neighbours is very hard thing to do, I don't do it unless I have to.

I've considered deleting people with giant ugly house-farms but haven't done so yet. I do prefer people who're clearly putting some effort into designing their Springfield.

To be honest, I only visit all of my 100 friends, when there's an event going on (like christmas)... so no, I don't delete any friends!

If you're not going to visit them, they might actually consider it a favor of sorts if you *did* delete them.

You never know when you need 'neighbours' again for holiday specials. I keep them all unless there town is small and they don't play. Such a pain to add players now. When you add them, they delete you (for whatever reason).

I wouldn't delete anyone off inactive for just a week

People have lives I would give them 3 weeks to a month

    My rules for deleting friends.

House farms - automatic delete, don't care how active, I don't like looking at house farms.
Low level no activity - after a week.
High level no activity - a couple of weeks.

I delete people who stop playing the game or spam their town with houses.
Sorry, i only play on an iPhone 4 and every space being occupied by a house causes my game to crash sometimes.

Had 100 friends for valentines day. Got rid of the house farms and ugly towns right away. Anyway, Some days I couldn't even visit them all and when I could it would take forever. I don't like deleting, but recently purged all except those I remember from when I started and real-world friends.

To me it doesn't matter what level you're at, if you're inactive for a while (more than 3 weeks or so) or if nothing has changed in your town (obviously not playing, characters never on tasks), then you're gone. Sorry. The only exception to this was when many of us were locked out from the harp of death.

Before the valentine update I only deleted neighbors that hadn't been active in atleast 3 weeks since ppl might go on vacation or whatever and not have access to internet. But since I realized during the valentine update how few ppl actually was visiting my town regularly (I visited all my neighbours everyday) I started kicking neighbors out of my neighborhood. I still wanna kick some more of them out but then I'm afraid I'm not gonna have enough for the next big update.

Potentially dumb newbie question: what's the easiest way to tell who's visiting my Springfield and helping me get points/cash?
