The International Organization for Standardization gives a definition of a manipulating industrial robot in ISO 8373:
"an automatically controlled, reprogrammable, multipurpose, manipulator programmable in three or more axes, which may be either fixed in place or mobile for use in industrial automation applications."[73]
I was wondering why the heck they named that owl after a symptom of the plague when I learned that it's the genus name for old-world eagle owls and horned owls. English is very confusing.

This is really my favorite robot. I named him Dark Raider.
