So, pre-Xmas, mini-event predictions?

I can't imagine the Winter event starting too soon, so we'll have some time to fill before it hits. Someone on addicts predicted a short Stonecutters event for those who missed the first one and a few new items for the long timers. For some reason, I have a very strong feeling this is exactly what is going to happen as it ties into the hint text we got when the "Halloween" event ended.

Yes? No? Predictions? Hopes? Dreams? Wishes?

Please Sir, for those of us, who weren't yet playing and missed the original event, please please please have a mini Stonecutters event? It might make up for the recent Montymort Vestige saga.

Given the usual 42-day length for major events, going right into the Winter event this week would be about right. Though a mini-event first and still doing Christmas tasks at the end of January wouldn't surprise me terribly either.

Unless we get another short major event like last year's Winter event (which was unanimously loved and is famous for not generating a single solitary complaint from players

) I think EA will switch things up a bit and start the next event within a few days so it doesn't stretch so far into January past the holiday season.

As for what the next event might entail, I have no guesses to contribute but I'd be fine with the event mash-up suggestions that have been thrown out there (Stonecutters Christmas or Kang & Kodos Christmas).

+1 on the stonecutters!! I missed them too in the past and it's so iconic on the TV show i really need them! Please bring them back!!

Kind of hoping for some winter outfits for some of the regular Springfielders based off of the ones they had in the show and maybe an ice rink where they can go skating together. Maybe Gil can finally be a character? I would love to see a Stonecutters 2 with a tie-in with the holidays because I missed the first time it was an event.

And maybe more animated tasks for White Witch Burns.

Thanksgiving WAS the mini event before Christmas (or Winter or whatever) event. I fully expect the next event to start on Tuesday.

was thinking the same, have 2 to get to finish off 2 character collections. not sure why one is in one collection and another in a second collection and not all stonecutters are in one collection togeather but it is what it is

Personally I'm not expecting the Winter Event until next week so maybe a quick sale or a week off before the next main thing.

This could be great. Expensive stores for the rich to shops at and some less than desirable places for regular Springfield. People out shopping in winter clothes...

Stonecutters? How do they figure that without proof? Unless they got Stonecutter stuff in the files that confirms it?

As for yet ANOTHER mini event before Xmas starts I don't think we will get anything else before it. There isn't enough time. Unless it starts today. Because this is the last week of November.
