I nuked a while back then 2 years later I finally placed every building I had. Newer items were starting to clutter up in all the empty areas over time though. So, I had this plan that instead of nuking I was going to remodel little by little.
Did a few small portions and got lazy so now it’s even messier than before.
Yes, unfortunately. It's been a mess since the airport event. I keep meaning to straighten it out, but I get so overwhelmed at how much there is to rearrange. I just keep KEM farming instead to buy more things... and never figure out where to place them. It's getting sad. With the snow coming, I really should do something about it.
But I probably will just keep collecting things and never fix it
My town's been a mess since the Stonecutters event. I never found a good place for the hall, daycare, and pyramid and it's been all downhill since then. Plus the constant land expansion has left my zoning and planning constantly lagging behind. One day I will reimpose some order. Maybe tomorrow.
I knew my town was a mess when I was scrolling around for a place to dump Halloween stuff and came across a pile of random items from the previous Halloween.
I started laying down roads in different parts of my Springfield and fill them in with buildings as I get them. This has helped a little. It would help more if I didn't get lazy and dump stuff in empty spots.
Define “mess”.
I prefer “organized disorder”. Everything has a place, and every place has its thing. My railyard stuff is all in one area. The SH factories are usually clumped together. Maggie’s Lansing zones are placed around the playdough factory for convience.
But there are those clusters of buildings that defy explanation.
After I had been playing for about a year I got frustrated with having to wait to earn money to buy more land so I could build buildings. At that time I did away with most of my roads and just jammed as much stuff in there as possible. I am still in that phase.
I swear that once I hit a multiplier of 1250% and purchase all available land, I'll nuke the whole thing and "design" a town. We'll see if it ever happens though.

532.65. I plan to be there by the end of 2018 (hopefully sooner). I started around 200 something in June and I passed 500 before Halloween and have been distracted with Halloween, Black Friday and now Christmas Mystery Boxes. I'm pretty sure I'll get the multiplier, I'm just not sure I'll do the work to clean up my town. (Sorry if I wasn't clear!)
There is another thread on here "what is your multiplier" that a lot of us use to track our multipliers. You should check it out. I think you should able to get there before the end of 2018.
My ocd wont permit it. Even with all the stuuf I bought the last week, most went right into a place. The rest I find a home for one item every time I log in. Makes a big mess seems smaller

My town is a disgrace - if you have OCD never visit lol. I’ve been working on multiplier and ‘having’ everything which is what I enjoy. I keep saying one day I’ll design properly, but I’ve not quite made it yet
I nuked last week right after the halloween event ended, It really needed redesign after 2 years. I was worried about my multiplier (maybe losing some, or trying to find which item had it) but I ended up with +0,01%
