Event Currency

I haven't seen this question asked yet so I figured I'd give it a try.

It looks to me like the only way to get event currency is by taping the robo funzos and doing the re-gifter. (and of course friend visits) But it seems like there should be more to get the currency as in past events you would usually have tasks with certain characters to send for currency. Is there something that I'm missing??

No-one is sure yet. It appears that they are the only ways to earn event currency at the moment but it may be a glitch. It seems there's a few that might need ironing out - land tokens but no new land??

One of the mods here is getting in contact with EA to ask questions so we should know soon if things aren't as they should be...

Talking about currency, I maybe wasn't looking right, but I got me the Rigellian North Pole, but it generates just 10(ten) currency every eight hours. Pretty useless as an income item.

I have one also and am underwhelmed with it. They could at least have made it every 4 hours

I was excited to buy this but the currency payout rate is laughable. The red tip of the pole is the only animation I could find when in use. Am I missing something here? It wasn’t cheap.

I don’t think you are missing something. I think the Rigellian North Pole must be an oversight and it’s either supposed to pay more batteries or 10 wrapping paper.

I was thinking there might be event jobs once you place the Rigelian Construction site? Anyone rushed ahead that far to see?

Im at 1771 batteries, is will take forever to get to the construction site, which is second to last in this act. And also the questline seems to be stopped until you get it.

The next part of the quest line gives bonuts, so I assume that they don't want people to get too many bonuts from the event.

I think the reason so many people are confused is because part 9 is the last part of the questline and it takes almost no time at all to get there. I think Lisa's 1 hour task in part 8 is the longest. Usually, we get those 4 hour tasks over and over to get to the bonut rounds.
