I may have missed this, but the task says check out the scratch mas ticket at KWIK-E-MART, I do but task stays active. Is it a bug???? Or do you have to actually spend 4.99 to get rid of it.... Driving my OCD crazy!!!!!

lol all you got to do is click a KEM and then close it and it ends the task.

That doesn't work (clicking and closing a kem). I've tapped every kem in my town, and that dang task is still there, it wont go away!
Help anyone?

All I did to clear the task was tap on Kwik-E-Mart and that collected the cash then tapped again to bring up the scratcher purchase menu, closed it and task complete, if that doesn't work maybe try purchasing the free scratcher and see if that helps.

I just bought a regular ticket with in game money and it completed.

By any chance do you have any Kwik-E-Mart in storage? If so could one of those be the original as we've had issues in the past with stuff at the Kwik-E-Mart that could only be completed at the original one.

As you have access to multiple devices have you tried loading up the town that's stuck with the Scratch-R issue on one of the other devices to see if it completes on that device as this fix has worked for other strange problems.

I only play on one device, I use an iPad. It really doesn’t bother me, plenty of other players have far bigger issues to deal with in the game than this one.

I tried everything posted, even purchasing the ticket. I tried on a tablet, moving the mart, trying other marts, everything. The quest refuses to complete. It worked for my nephew, but not me. Sad face.
I hope this bug is fixed soon.
