I can conferm that thedrazen is ligit helped me took 30 min problem solved. Can't thank him/her enough.

    any known solutions for android people who just get the cannot connect problem ?

    I'm afraid I dont have too many details on android solutions at the moment - have added what I know of to the original post though

    and btw tried several times reinstalling for android and no result

    I tried both of the above solutions using an iPad 3, neither of them worked. :cry:

    Everything was working fine this morning, even won the 100 donut jackpot this morning on the scratch off. now when i log in, it's like I'm starting the game over again and everything is gone. Anyone else experience this? If i don't get my donuts back, someone might die, just sayin..........

    btw for the android users, did anyone already try to delete the data first and then reinstall ? i noticed the game uses 148 MB but the game itself(when downloading) is only 35 + 65 MB on the update , a rough total of 100 MB which leaves48 MB of gameplay data ? maybe if you delete that you can restart ? lol

    Add this to the harp glitch. If you are harping your game is not being saved to origin and for some that have the iPhone 5 or the iPad 3 it still wont clear.

    In these instances they need to attempt to open the game on a different device which will prompt the your game was not saved popup . You then go back to the other device and let it harp untill it crashes re-open it and you will get the message that the game was saved. After that going back to the iPhone 5 or iPad 3 will work.

    One thing I would like to add if you have the harp problem and ask one of us to help after you give your details DON'T try to log back in while we fix it as at least in my experience it throws the app and crashes. I have had 2 cases now where I have un harped someone got to the stratchcard only for the app to crash and when I come back it says your other device didn't save. This can only in my thinking be caused by the original user trying to see if its fixed.

    I thought things were slowing down but I now have loads more people with the problem.

    This issue will not go away until they release level 27 and lord I hope it has allot of XP needed otherwise the madness will continue. Or they limit the bonus level to only one and make it a higher amount of donuts. I play 11 towns and 2 have harped and recovered using the 2 device method. One harped twice but again after another level up. 3 of my towns are no issue as they are all level 18 but but I am at 26 with the others all have done the first bonus game and I am worried about them. For the most part I am not building any new buildings and limiting my play when I get close to a level up.

    We should not have to play this way as I have spent several hundred dollars on the game.

    I have switched my level 26 game and started playing on iphone4 all week and have had no crash.
    But I have only got up to building Krabapple apartments on it.
    Every Springfield I have seen with the problem have built one of the 2 buildings from level 26, wiggum and el chemistri.
    I hope it's not the same for level 27!

    Count me in the harpies group.

    I just leveled up and the XP did not change, I collected some money and watched with dread as it did not go up. I knew exactly what was about to happen.

    *insert multiple curse words*

    This is the first time I've ever had anything go wrong so in that sense I count myself lucky but still, this is ridiculous! Are they ever going to fix this??

    I have an iPod Touch with 64 GB and the autolock disable function, going to try that first to see if it gets me back in and then I'm sending out the SOS PM.

    So frustrating.

    Oh spit. I'm about to level up soon AND I've never had harpies either.

    Edit.....I use an iPod touch too.

    Oh....and there is another method now. Something about logging out and playing anonymously until you get to visiting neighbors. You should still have all your neighbors; so you visit about 20-30 then leave and try to log back in. You continue to do this until you get back in.
