Controversial but Timely Event

So with the #metoo movement taking off in a huge way this year, and January being the one year anniversary of the Women's March, wouldn't it be cool to have an update for the game that has to do with the women of Springfield in politics?

NOTE: This would NOT be a partisan event. LIke it wouldn't be loaded with a bunch of commentary on certain issues. But the Simpsons just had an episode of Marge as the Mayor of Springfield, ousting Quimby, and it might be fun to have an election involving female characters in the game, and involve female celebrities (from the Simpsons) coming into town as well.

You could include:

CHARACTERS
1. Judge Constance Harm
2. Governor Mary Bailey
3. Sarah Wiggum (still not in the game!)
4. Sara Sloane (the celebrity)
5. Laney Fontaine (actress based on Elaine Strich)
6. Tabitha Vixx
7. Opal (the Oprah parody)
8. Anita, Connie, and Rachel (from the Cool Mom's Club that Marge joins)

AND POSSIBLY:
Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama. We've had other Presidents (lots!) and hell we even have Jesus and other religious leaders.

BUILDINGS
1. The Cool Moms Club
2. Marge's Campaign Office
3. Pretzel Wagon
4. Statue of historical female Springfielder

COSTUMES:
--Mayor Marge
--1 or 2 more

I would love this little event!
  • Merry Xmas to you too.
The hashtag has been criticized for putting the responsibility of publicizing sexual harassment and abuse on those who experienced it, which could be re-traumatizing.[72][73][74] Some found the hashtag to inspire fatigue and outrage, rather than emotionally dense communication.[75][76] Others have questioned if the movement is going "too far" when the accused are punished without due process confirming their guilt, or when harsh punishments are meted out regardless of the seriousness of the alleged misconduct.[77][78] There was also disagreement on whether "all men" are to blame for the women's experiences.[79]

  • I never leave the house without a tissue. But I think you refer to a Wikipedia editor.

  • No lame events like this please
  • Personally I play to escape politics, problems and the negative reality of the world and it’s citizens. The very last thing I’d want is to bring all that poop in my game and be forced to struggle through it. I’d probably quit playing like I did the Family Guy game for that reason, though here it would likely just be for the event.

  • How about a BLM event, yeah!
  • How about the CIA doing a JFK on DJT ?
