happy new years its here once more (uk time). Thank god 2017 is gone. I have 2 new years resolustions this year (im only haring one as one of them is realy personal) it is to be a kinder person. Feel free to share yours if you have any.

Learn Spanish so I can give my mostly Spanish very little English Store manager my two weeks notice in Spanish....

Whatever you’re on iOS or Android there are loads of language apps. They’re handy for when you are on holiday and want help with a phrase you might have forgotten

awesome!! ill check it out for my phone!! but we don't plan on leaving the country...ever!! not our thing...hubby and I are going to learn German together though!! just cause we have wanted to learn it!!

Duolingo is a good app and it has tons of languages available to learn. Going to a different country and not knowing any of the language is kinda fun! Makes it interesting that's for sure! If you're trying to talk to someone who doesn't know English, just speak slower and louder.

ill definitely check out that app!! at work its mostly only Spanish speakers and it drives me nuts...!! I have had to have translators for some of the stuff.... im not even sure how I figured out my job considering the one that trained me, her English is very broken and hard to understand....especially with me being partially deaf....I pretty much had to just watch and learn that way...I guess it paid off though...im the first white person to do my job and the first person to get it for 5 days....its usually split between two people with one at 4 days and one at 3...

You could start with some easy words like burrito and chimichanga and go from there! It would be awesome if one of your co workers would help you out and try to teach you. Being immersed is the best way to learn!

I might be able to have one of my managers help me out... and I never want to hear the word burrito again...I make our breakfast burritos at work...I make about 200 plus burritos a day....I hate them...I have actually become a taco eater now because of this.... it makes me very sad...
