IMO if one more person comes into this forum and accuses them they should STOP all help. Yes some bad apples can ruin it for everyone but I think this is total crap and people like suga69 can go fart themselves. I was about to offer my help but I will be dammed if this is the thanx you get.

Sorry I thought this needed to be said.

If you are a paranoid * dont PM the helpers and listen to your harp sound until EA comes to your rescue. (We all know how fast they respond to you.)

I'm with you on tis one dude, it has become quite a negative place in here at times

I agree as a harp helper we take time out of our busy lives to do some good for no reward and get accused of being things isn't right. Besides what is there to steal in the first place?

I for one refuse to help suga or another paranoid people.

Another thing to those who say I'm lazy or "can't be bothered" to fix their account remember we don't work for ea we have lives and if you act that way the harpies will be with you until ea gets off there * and fixes it themeselfsc

I understand that everyone is riled up about this latest issue, but let's maintain some perspective. I can't tell anyone else what to do, but speaking for myself it'll be a cold day in h--- before I allow someone like suga to influence whether I do or do not help someone.

I can understand being skeptical. Giving out this information is sensitive, some people may use the same login info for other stuff or someone could screw your town up etc. But harpies has been going on for weeks and the same people have been offering help for almost as long. The fact that there is not one thread from anyone stating they were ripped off, and multiple threads thanking people for helping them out should tell you everything you need to know.

Yes, some bad apples may ruin it for others but for me I wouldn't let that stopping me from helping others. Plus who ever give their details to a helper should go ahead and change their password.

If someone started just new in the forums and needed to fix harpy should check all other threads with so many thanks to the helpers.

I'm with Roly. If any forum needs mods, this is the one.

People are flat out mean here. Except the ones who are nice, but they seem to be kicked away. :) I've been on forums for 15 plus years (yes, I'm old) and this is on of the worst. For a game youngest people aren't that into, it's surprising.

Just me two cents, which I'm sure will get bashed down to shards of copper.

I would like to add my voice to the choir in saying thank you to all those who have taken time out of their lives, to no personal gain, to assist other members in resolving this ridiculous Harp Glitch. I was one of the people who was helped and there is nothing shady going on in the least.

There are all different types of people on this forum, some good people, some not worth the time of day, but all these people volunteering to help are a real benefit to this forum. I cant think of one other forum where the members have been so instrumental in helping so many other players in such a direct way.

I want to say "Thank You Very Much" to all those that are putting themselves out there. Time is irreplaceable, and trust me, helping so many people recover from this glitch is very costly in time.

To the suspicious people out there, do a little research before you open your big mouths and ruin it for everyone else.

I don't normally consider myself a glass-half-full kind of person, but (at the risk of repeating myself) I really think we ought to maintain a bit of perspective. I personally feel we out to be celebrating the fact and in this relatively chaotic environment a group of individuals took it upon themselves to help others purely for the sake of helping rather than to bemoan the actions of a couple of ill-informed Internet toughies who tried to tear down that achievement.

And instead all you got was a moron who hopefully is never cured of harpies.

I'm tired of the overall nastiness of this place over the past several days from a select few trolls.

If we ignore them, they will fade away.

I feel nothing but pity for keyboard warriors. Thank goodness spring is here and I've returned to real life (meaning running, hiking, you know....being active?) so I'm missing most of the manufactured drama.

May I suggest those of you whining and hating just go find a life that doesn't involve computers and the Internet. It will do your soul good to find something more constructive to occupy your time.

(And troll away those who will respond with something along the lines of...."but this is all I can do because....XYZ " There is always something more positive you can do that doesn't involve forums) .

Agreed Lissa. Real life is intruding, I barely even play the game as much and I'm thankful. This forum has gone to *.

They ALL have, it's the boredom between updates and I've had enough.

I also no longer enjoy playing a buggy game. So what's the point? I am checking into my town once a day and visiting neighbors but I doubt it will ever again be the way it was in October.

EA has ruined the enjoyment and the forums have bored me with the constant childish drama.

I hope this is not directed at me Josh  I am defending you against suga :-)
