The dumbest move you ever made?

My dumbest move was, a while back I had enough Donuts for the Krusty Studio. As I was scrolling through the list of premium stuff my thumb slipped and I ended up wasting 6 donuts on a mystery box.

    When I started the game, I used around 7-10 donuts to make the Homer and Lisa tasks done.

    Lost 24 donuts accidentally rushing Apu through a seven day quest. Didn't realize I had done it until I saw the thumb over a Kwik-E-Mart. Universally stupid.

    Spent a dollar to do the golden ticket scratch off, Won 6 donuts which gave me 15, bought a Homer buddha, got a mystery box from the buddha, and finally received a tree.

    So long story short spent a real hard earned dollar of mine for a tree.

    It's only happened to me a single time, but I did once accidentally waste a donut speeding up the collection period for a brown house. :cry:

    I suppose because I'm a bit of a completist I have acquired some items I wished I had not -- notably, the Burns Monster and the Funzo's. I yearn for the day that the game allows us to store these monstrosities.

    Worst expense? Speeding up a brown house, Simpsons house. I know I take the gamble with the Mystery Boxes and Homer Buddha, but I'm not investing in those again. I haven't gotten the golden scratch off after doing the math on them. Would rather put $10 towards the donut package, then 10 scratchers.

    The dumbest thing I've ever done is easy -- I thought I'd be sly and use my niece as child labor to visit all my friends houses in the game. She really loves clicking on the $$$ and after some brief instruction she spent the next 45 minutes going through all the 'Springfields'. When she returned the device to me she had a proud look on her face as she explained....

    'I figured out if you click on the houses in your Springfield and then on the donut it let me click off more $$$'

    I thanked her for her help. I didn't have the heart to tell her that the 100 donuts she spent on speeding up brown houses wasn't part of my plan.

    Cleaning graffiti off Moes Tavern lead to me accidentally speeding up a task for Moe as he was halfway through watering down beer. Costing me 8 donuts, I tried to cancel, but my phone's alarm went off at the exact same time, so it prevented me from pressing cancel. Still f'ed off about that one still

    I'm not surprised you're annoyed by that ...that would really *ahem* me off.

    Mine is a speed up of Simpson house, and 2 donut speed ups accidentally with less than a minute to go.

    Like so many here, it must be accidentaly speeding up a brown house or something. I have also bought a mystery box by accident because my thumb slipped. What was in it, I do not remember, but definitely nothing memorable.

    I bought the Squeaky-Voice Teen as my first premium character.

    Then through levels and perks I landed at about 120 or so donuts...and that's where I was stuck at Halloween.

    Which meant I missed Kang.

    And now I have the teen instead.

    And I'm bored of him.

    Spending $10 on golden scratch off tickets, hitting the jackpot and ending up with 143 donuts, then spending all of them on homer buddas... :cry:

    Getting all three funzos. I had one at first, then for some reason I convinced myself to get the other two. Three is too many. God I'm so addicted to this game.

    Probably try to exploit the glitch with the Springfeild Downs. Then posting about how I lost Dounts due to it.
    Other than that it was when I forgot the Santa coins would go away on a certian day and forgot to spend them.
