Museum missing

I completed the first round of tasks and got the message for the free land token which was part of the first prize and then the game froze. I had to restart it, but I can't find the museum anywhere. I've checked my full inventory twice and even checked my entire town. The prize track shows that it was completed. Any thoughts, or am I going to have to contact EA. It seems I can't do much more without it.

  • Same happen to me. Game froze more than 4 times and when it seems to work, no reward and price track saying completed... (sorry for my bad english)

  • the game is completely frozen for me everytime i try and collect the museum. tried to restart it like 5 times and it is still locked

  • Mine is like that too. It seems to be a bug with the game mechanics where it looks for land to place the building but when no land is available it crashes the game.

    A quick solution would be for a rep to free up land in our towns while they fix the bug.

    Of course, whether this is the cause of the problem is purely speculative. Just to push back a bit on this idea, I can recall previous instances when I’ve acquired content and was forced to store it for want of available space. But even if it were true, EA is never going to implement your proposed fix.

    I contacted support about my missing museum, had a goos discussion going with them about it, then was directed to The Sims forum for help

    Have you submitted a ticket yet? And, if so, have you received any sort of response?

    I’m not an EA apologist, but for this type of bug, they have a fair track record. I would hope to see an update fixing the problem by the end of the week.

    yes, everything has been done. I wrote EVERYWHERE. Also on Twitter, the tech support says "they are working on it" but after 20 hrs still nothing has been fixed

    Well, as I said, EA has a moderately decent track record for bugs of this sort. But to expect is a general patch/update less than 24 hours after the event lunch is probably unreasonable. These guys don’t work around the clock.
