Act II Crafting is locked

So I started act II and I can't craft any of the act II items yet they're all still locked and say reach level II to unlock this item. Do you have to unlock the Queen's Carriage before the act II crafting can start? Is anyone else having this issue?

I have had no problem crafting level 2 items. Did you get 20% in level 1 or get the movie to display with the gondola, cheese truck? Just some info neede to figure this out. Got the level 2 little english tower?

Got the movie to display. At 9 and 9.3% percent in the two bonus jewel buildings maybe that's the issue? Maybe I have to get one of the bonus buildings to 20%? There's no English tower. Maybe you mean the Leaning tower of Pisa? (which I have)

I'm having a slightly different problem. I can't get past 18 percent on the Springfield tower. I have added a couple of extra guards. It shows 20 percent when placing them. But it goes back to 18 when done.

Having the same issue!!!! Not sure what to do. Can't progress if I can't unlock Act2 crafting items. Have had the bug issue with no left icon tapping, railways not working etc. . now this! Grrrrrrr

Okay figured it out. I had to place the gondola in the bonus area. (The last part of Springfield Job Part 6 quest had to be completed first) Anyone having this issue should probably check if they have an outstanding act I event quests to be completed.

No I have definitely completed all tasks for act 1. It let me purchase the Cathedral then an old Gil deal popped up on my screen for Duff Gardens then when I opened the crafting again to buy a police box it had locked me out.

I haven't had any crafting problems. Act 1 I had 20% and as soon as I started into act 2, I had saved up enough to place a bunch of cheese trucks for the second building to get it to 20% right away.

Mystery2mi - yes played the video at the end of act 1. Weird thing is Act 2 was unlocked for about the first 20 mins but after i opened the game again it had locked me out.

I am having the same problem. I actually crafted the first 2 items of act 2 (the red and blue phone booths) then, I purchased Duff Gardens and wham... Act 2 is locked. I can't craft anymore England items. Any ideas?

This is quite troubling, as the Gil Deal for Duff Gardens can be one of the current glitch problems that players are having. This is from the ‘recent issues’ thread, posted on April 2nd:

I crafted a gondola for the task and it wont even let me place it anywhere. Does this mean i cant participate in the rest of the event unless i spend hundreds of donuts to unlock the prizes that i need for the act finale? Thats a real big screw up if so, this is the first time ive ever missed an act in an event and restarted later on.

I really want all the london stuff cos thats where im from

Hey Everyone,

Yup, same problem with me.
I've been dealing with the big glitch just like a lot of other people on here.
I've got a rollback a few times, the issue came back.

I've been playing the game with the glitch, it's a hassle, but still playable...until

Some old event message popped up and now I can't craft.
It is saying Act 2 is locked when I tied to craft.

So if we can't craft, we can continue to act 3???

Just want to see what you guys are doing.

Contacting EA for another rollback? ( is that our only option)
Waiting (and hopefully), but probably not EA will "unlock" Act 2?

I guess I got rehit with the glitch. I already had the glitch. Because I was able to craft Act 2 stuff right up until today.

as I can't complete the Act 2 quest as i cant craft any Act 2 items does this mean that I'll be locked out of Act 3 altogether?

Got hit by the glitch last week for the first time. Was able to play the event ok until yesterday when all my act 2 crafting locked.
