ETA on glitch fix?

    Really sorry to hear you are having such a hard time :( Would you be able to post their reply (but remove any personal info) on the forum?
    I wonder if they mean that you can change the answers to the questions you are asked to ‘fraud account problems’ or something so you get an option to call? I don’t really know. What country do you live in? Did you include your Mayhem ID in your mail?
    I tried to help @devilhunt1449 when he had the glitch. He said he only had the option to mail, but by changing some of the answers sometimes you can bring up different ways to contact them. I was able to find a phone number to call in the UK.

    Interesting change: my tax collection radius has gone up, not where it was previsously, but it's no longer level 1. Has to be a level 2 or something, so occasionally I can collect tax from two buildings at a time now. :D

  • They sent me a message telling me they need to identify me. I have to call or chat. Jesus Christ, I told them that I can't call OR chat. They said the chat is available on the link below, then link takes me to the page called "HOW TO GET HELP WITH FRAUD ON YOUR EA ACCOUNT". Fraud? I have never even mentioned that.

    Noooooo :(

    This is exactly how my last time went with them. Then they wanted me to document all that was broken or missing.

    Sounds like yet another stalling tactic to me. Hoping you will give up and leave them alone.

    Sorry if I sound a bit cynical towards EA, but I have no faith in them and no repect for them due to the way they treat their customers. I doubt I will ever spend money with them again.

  • @Muhsterino I am going to wait a bit. I was also a bit irritated and after calming down I thought it may be a non-native speaker of English, like myself. But I will post everything worth noting.

    I am Hungarian. Sorry, I can't find the person who asked that.

    Now, EA promised to connect me to a group of technicians who can help.
    The fraud thing wasn't anything to fill, just a troubleshooting list for people who lost their accounts for some reason. I couldn't find the chat. Now I'm waiting for the techs to contact me.

As I said it is unfortunate that you have to go through this, but maybe the silver lining is your experience may be able to help someone else out down the road. Maybe you will save them having to go down the road altogether. Thanks for your contribution, it is appreciated.

    And as predicted, at 10:41 PM EST the bug has returned to my game.

    Update- immediate rollback at 11:01 same case same agent from last night that I 'got into it with' about trying to advocate for the community via emails... agent is RHYTHM P. and although I am extremely frustrated with EA, this rep has been prompt, genuine and empathetic. Can't blame this person. Customer service is stuck between a rock and a hard place through this reps own admissions. They know the problem but are tethered by protocol and the details are not getting to the dev's and coding teams... I have a response from one of my queries where the rep mentions specifically the algorithms and game mechanics are outside of their abilities.

    Good for you. I assume your still emailing. Any idea where this person is located, or what there position is? (Customer service, tech, etc)

    All this is good info that can help others in a similar position down the road. Pretty sad that we have to be the csr's!

  • @daved7637397 I couldn't find the location unfortunately (I wanted to know how much time difference there is between us).
    She signed as Specialist at EA Help.

    I'm going to write a summary of everything I did when it's all over.

    Is it sure that I'm going to lose all progress since the glitch?
    Because I got the final prize of Act 2 and earned a couple of donuts too. :(
