You must be new. I designed like that at first, but if you keep designing with so many small items you'll hit the item limit quick.
Cool design, though!
Thanks! Haha actually I’m pretty old. I just take a break from the game every now and then. I’ve been on this game and the forum since the beginning. Back when you could steal lemon trees from your neighbors and when you had to manually look for each character to finish a task.
And yea I’m borderline on the limit, every time I design something new I have to take something away.
@ZennGlenn Great idea for a thread! I always visit your town to see the wonderfully unexpected juxtapositions of decorations.
Wow, we must have been playing this game for too long a time if people interested in design are unfamiliar with @jofre_nash. I advise people to zoom in on that pic and stretch their imaginations.
I like everything here, but I'll limit myself to mentioning a couple newcomers with terrific designs: @Blastboom and @Mount_Grey. Hope to see more from you.

Jofre has posted some of the best designs I've seen in this game.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

Says one of the best Ive seen in this game! Your town is probably the best Ive seen...
I do not accept unsolicited friend requests! PM me and say hi first.
I was about to post this pic in the "things you don't see too often" thread, because i caught it graphic-glitched so the building is full to the brim with creatures!! LoL
But this is actually one of my first large designs, when we got our first land expansion of two columns on the right. I thought it was more land than I'd ever need, hah! So i "went large" on making a "medieval times meets alien" dinner theater. This building allowed me to utilize the spooky wall glitch, and i could hide my cache of 50 walls in plain sight as this building's roof surface (when not glitched like this of course)
Then we got another column on the right and i made that hedge maze, which has a logical path as well as dead-ends. I'd love to visit this place for real!
For anyone wondering, this theme restaurant property was built next to the old drive-in, which was there first, which was known for showing scary monster movies, and so it fit the neighborhood. All of this property used to be part of the Christmas tree farm, that's still open, behind the hedge maze. It all backs up to the old catholic church property on the other side of the cemetery there at the top of the hill, which was there before anything else. This is the story it's trying to portray, anyway...
