ETA on glitch fix?

    Has anyone had an issue with the monorail tasks after getting a rollback?

    After I finished the tasks and got the 5 donuts, my donut count was at 180. I did some friend visits, got an extra donut --which puts me at 181. Then, when I went back to my town my donuts are at 176 :( WTH!
    I never had this issue before

    Yes, in my last rollback game, I noted it took me about four days for donuts count to be back to normal as you harvest. And one week later, i got the glitch again. EA sent my email case to specialist and didn't roll me back again. Just ask me to wait.
  • OK... Umm who the *f is @Aeternus_EA that posted the May 8th announcement? Are you kidding me right now?!? So am I to understand that there is infact some EA troll responsible for updating us here about issues/updates etc?!?!?
    he's not one of the technicians guys he was given the role of posting the thread. its not his job to fix the glitches

    Please dont mistake my fury. I do not suggest @Aeternus_EA has the ability to fix anything. I get that this person is just here for information.... information like this same person could simply acknowledge the fact that there is a legitimate and considerable problem with the glitch. I am most upset that I personally have requested on multiple occasions via phone, email and chat, that someone from EA post on the forum, the Tapped Out Facebook page and TSTO Addicts a simple apology and affirmation that not only are they aware of the issue but there is a plan to fix it.

    I suspect the mods/managers don’t appreciate being cursed out.

    And to repeat what I said earlier (in a message which also seems to have been deleted, presumably because it quoted you), you’re assuming that this update is glitch-related. That may not be true.

    I should have been much more clear from the get go. I dont care at all if the post for the May 8th update has anything to do with the glitch. I agree with you, probably not glitch related. I have been implying that whoever at EA that manages that account that created that topic obviously has access to information and humans in the tech support/IT departments that can provide actual facts and again, an APOLOGY and again ACKNOWLEDGMENT that the glitch is real and they are aware.

    As far as MODS/Managers being cursed at, please... being polite and patient has not worked for more than a year. Considering how long this has been going on, where is the advocacy for the unfortunate people here??? Isn't that what the EA community managers job should be? Should this person by title be obliged in the name of customer service, to acknowledge and investigate the concerns? I have been hit by the glitch only twice. My game is currently stable and has been for about 3 weeks now thankfully. But I continue to open tickets and call/email as often as I can for people like @hockeygal-eh, @hobbesisreal, @chud3 (new to the list here) and it goes on and on. I love this game. I've been playing for almost 5 years now. If this doesn't get fixed and as more and more users become affected the survivability of this game becomes less and less likely.

    The point is, there isn't one. Instead of wasting your time on why I dont seem to understand the pecking order at EA, how about you join the club and start harassing customer service for a fix?

    Let me make a point on each of the three paragraphs you posted;
    First you demand information from another user that they obviously don't have. Second you advocate 'harassing' front line support staff over something they have no control over, which is akin to yelling at Wal-Mart cashiers over corporate policy, but third, you make your best contribution in the last line.
    I have been hit in multiple towns with the glitch, and am very unhappy, but your suggestions don't seem to be geared to actually solving anything. Oh and the mods here are great people and not EA staff. Don't go there.

    From @LPNintendoITA 's post on what changed with the update it looks like there is a fix included. Please anyone who has the glitch active let us know if it resolves.....

    It only said the character select icon was fixed. It also said the krusty ! Glitch was fixed and several people have already reported its not.

  • I've just logged in & the character select is not fixed, nor the tap radius. Still have an old task for Homer from when he was Pie Man. Anyone else have any fixes?

    Nope. Nothing is fixed. I hope there is no glitch upon a glitch, glitch. So now I could play in peace in a glitch state knowing that I will not be hit by the glitch again.

    well you can see Gil over and over offering you Duff Gardens and Homer's Pie Man kick off, but yes you can't get the rest of the broken things broken again.

    Oh so Gil will reappear as a glitch upon a glitch, glitch? I am worried that when this glitch happened in an event, it will lock items available like the previous event.
