While I admit I rarely went to KL, I didn't enjoy nuking it. It was the one place where I had all available land and decs, all arranged and designed exactly as I wanted. It was perfect. Now I have to get back to designing and placing it all over in SF and the task daunts me somewhat
I'm another sad tapper. I loved my Krustyland and it's design. I like riding the bus there twice a day, collecting my tickets and popping balloons. My 4 year old granddaughter loved looking at the rides and telling me how she wants to ride them.
I'm also sorry that I never bought the available land as I'd have 16 more land tokens right now.
Goodbye my sweet KL. R. I. P.
It kinda tugged at my heartstrings a little. I remember how excited I was when it came out and I really enjoyed designing there. I wish they hadn’t abandoned it but I’m happy with the alternative.
Krustyland disappearing was one of my biggest fears when I heard about this event, but figured I was just overreacting since we didn't get any concrete information save for the name.
I worked hard on my Krustyland and had it completely developed just like an amusement park. I completed it about 3 years ago, and liked the fact that it was consistent even though my SF kept changing. I liked it so much I started to replicate it in my SF a few months ago, but put that on pause because of land and decoration limits. (If any of my neighbors were wondering why I had stacks of benches lying around)
Now I'm just trying to take and stitch some pics together so that I can see it all together before I'm forced to nuke.

While I like the fact that there's no more loading screen and we got so much land, i dislike the fact that the cap was largely unchanged and that i spent so much time on Krustyland just to realize i had to scrap the whole thing because i couldn't place anything else down. EA needs to abandoned more hardware and allow the people on new gen devices to let towns flourish on their creativity and inspiration without any of these gates.
Quite happy without the extra travel time. I had plenty of land reserved for stuff, so ive got a highway with gates on each side, one for itchy land and other for krusty.

Think I'll do the same. On the outskirts of my town.
With the group storage function rebuilding KL in SF was easy for me.
I have made 4 storage groups with ~100 items and calculated the land size I needed in SF. I bought the required land using the new tokens and placed my 4 groups in SF.
Everything went smooth and it took only ~10 minutes to do so.
Anyone else notice the krusty fountain is no longer available?
It's on offer in the KL mystery box.
Edit typo
I already bought it though and I don't see it in inventory
Oh you already had it before the nuke? It's worth checking every single different area of the inventory, like the Tunnel of Love wasn't in my KL section but in a completely different part.
I didn't really go much to KL ,and unlike some who had really nice designs there I don't think I'm going to miss it at all. I love the amount of land available even if it is behind the stingy paywall of tokens.

Agree... and my huge Springfield multiplier now works on the Krustyland ticket generators, so I'm getting A LOT more for less work, which is great.

-My fountain is in the inventory.
It was not easy for me to press ‘Nuke’, but after 2 hours i did it
