  • First off let me say Halloween and Christmas/events usually have the best events in terms of content, atmosphere and quest lines.

My top 5 in chronological order.

    1) Treehouse of Horror XXIV- Count Burns and Suzanne The Witch released as playable characters. We had Gremlins and a fun quest line.

    2) Treehouse of Horror XXV- Hugo Simpson, Space Mutant. Kids trick or treating for prizes. This event screams Halloween.

    3) Winter 2015- Many memorable characters here in Lucille Botzcowski, Mrs Sinclair, Sophie Krustofski and Maggie. The naughty or nice mini game was a fun seasonal game. Christmas Maggie has a task to be a Christmas tree star. This was a great event that really put you in the holiday spirt.

4-Treehouse of Horror XXVII- A plethora of halloween themed characters; skins and buildings are featured in this event. Death, Frinkenstein, Gravedigger Billy, Werewolf Flanders, Blinky Monster. The Hellementary School looks amazing.

5-The Invasion Before Christmas- Kang and Kodos have taken over Christmas and created one of the best events ever! The quest line is hilarious holiday themed chaos. We have a ton of great characters here like Jack Frost, J. Rigellian Christ, Jesus Christ and Santa Claus.

    Honorable Mentions:

Tap Ball- The TSTO developers changed things up here and it worked they made a fun mini game. We have some nice sports skins here in Softball Mr Burns, Referee Homer and Kung ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Comic Book Guy.

Casino Event- Another great event that deviates from the games usual formula. The casino games were entreating and designing our own casino was a ton of fun.

My only quarrel with events like Clash of Clones and the Superheroes event is the games are no longer available once the event is over. It would be nice if we could still play the games for money or the occasional donut or two. It's kind of sad the buildings the events are linked with become useless.

That came with Winter 2016. She has a task to sacrifice a lamb with that skin also lol :sunglasses::star:

Oh that's right my mistake. I would edit my post but sometimes I edit my posts and they get set in the system for approval and disappear from the thread they were posted in. Only this approval never happens and then I have to periodically log in and out of the forum or try re-starting my computer. Plus if I don't save my post in a file somewhere it will get lost forever and erased from existence back to the future style. Is anyone else have this issue? I don't want to go through that right now. Anyway I digress; I was not a fan of that event. I did like some of the content however like The Wiccans and The Parson.
  • Whacking Day which was my first event and Stonecutters for me. The skins and prizes in Stonecutters were immense. I hope they release a Stonecutters 2 event.

I forgot to add Honorable Mentions.

    1) The Buck Stops Here. I bought all the Stonecutter character skins faster than you could say, "Shut up and take my money!" :D Plus, we got an interesting character in Birch Barlow.

    2) Homer vs. the 18th Amendment. Homer vs. Prohibition. We got a cluster of good items, and characters. Howard K. Duff, Ram-rod and Meathook. Also; Mr. Duff's 8hr task with the "Duff Puff". Someone had their head in the gutter! :D

    3) Itchy and Scratchy Land. Okay, this event isn't even a third of the way done; but by the time this event ends, I think I&S Land is a sure-fired Top 5 event IMO. We've already got memorable characters like Itchy and Scratchy, and more to come; like Bort.

Stonecutters and the first few Halloweens.

I don't care if I have most of the prizes from Stonecutters. I'd love to do that event again just for the fun of it.

    I didn't like the Sci-Fi event

I recently stashed all the Sci-Fi buildings on an outlying strip of land. I'm keeping them out because I still need the IGC, but I don't miss them in my town proper one bit.
  • I loved the first Valentine's Day, Wacking Day, and most all of the Halloween events.

Not a bad idea, although I may just store them, as Im about sick of looking at them.

Tap Ball and Clash of Clones were great. And I'm a sucker for the Halloween events (not so much last years, though).

Why is the casino event so popular? What made it so fun?

Great mini games and a lot of cool buildings and decorations.

@mcarolinar37 there was a generic slot machine but the big win was always a plus. Then they had a card game in Homer's house of cards. And a dice game at cletus'. I think the mini games and the Vegas raz of it all made it enjoyable. Some great casino additions and we got Vegas wives as well as Craig demon (Chris angel). I missed getting Craig though :disappointed: here is my casino area below.

Looks great. When was this event? Would be nice if they did Casino 2.0

My favorites were the Western Town and Monorail events. Tap ball was kind of fun, because, you could randomly go to other towns that weren't on your friends list, and do battle. The Spy event was interesting, and I have to admit, the Airport event was kind of fun too. I just wish, we could benefit visiting all our friends, and Visa Versa, plus leave characters in friends towns for extra bonuses.

I've seen my neighbors different types of monorails. The models look so nice. They should make some changes so visiting friends is more entertaining and dynamic

Looks great. When was this event? Would be nice if they did Casino 2.0

    Act 1: February 23, 2016 - March 7, 2016
    Act 2: March 7, 2016 - March 17, 2016
    Act 3: March 17, 2016 - March 29, 2016

Maybe I don' know if there's enough content for a second major event though.
