I will go into it with an open mind.......but that is kinda my thought too......LOVE the Simpsons......never could get into Furturama.....but will certainly give this a least a fair shake.
BTW @pepsimax .....that is my ultimate favorite drink!
Oh and yep it’s a decent drink.
Same here, interested in the show but in Netflix either tbh.
Any word about a series 1 box set release for either DVD or Bluray?
I haven't watched an episode yet....but I will give the entire first season a fair shake with an open mind (and not just judge the series after only watching the pilot).
The initial IMBD rating is 7.6...which is really respectable score there.
Rotten Tomatoes is currently running at 60% (with only 47 reviews)
Here is a NY Times Review.
Last night I tried to watch Disenchantment on NetFlix but it wouldn't load it. I click on it, goes blank as it should just before loading it, and then just back to home page. NetFlix worked since I got the FireTV 4 weeks ago and it would load Hulu / Amazon / Crackle / etc.... no problem. But only starting last night refused to load NetFlix denying me all access to Disenchantment.
Rebooting it / unplugging it / uninstall & reinstall NetFlix didn't help. I had this happen with another app on the FireTV .....worked fine, then wouldn't start (just jump back to homepage when loading), and then after a week it worked again with me doing nothing.........and I just chalked it up to being a less used glitchy app. But now this starts to establish a trend.
I am now shopping this weekend to buy the latest Roku to replace the latest FireTV that I bought to replace my last Roku.
the show was fantastic i thought it was better than Furturama but not as good as the Simpsons.
pls no hate for the spoiler if you don.t want to know don't read.
"I'm Elfo."
It had elements you would expect in a pilot. It takes time to establish
Not sure if I will put at the same level as The Simpsons (yet at least), but I have to say that I am looking forward watching some more episodes.....
I do think they missed an opportunity to have a totally unique and catchy theme song.
