This thread kinda reminds me of an idea I had the other day... Would you guys want the cars to have a parking space under them? Almost like Otto's Bus?

Not exactly. Allow them to be parked in parking spaces? Yes.

Also, allow them on the roads.
Allowing all the roads to be evidently seen as one way streets, which would totally destroy my city's credibility.
I just don't get why the only thing you CAN put in road are the barriers. Not even the road cones. Hell, if its just going to be barriers, at least make it so they prevent characters from walking down past it. Something so you can keep characters contained (similar to how I've seen some towns only have a tiny strip/square of road.)
But, cars in the lots/on the roads would be nice... Maybe even a task with one?

Heh, I've often thought this as well. The size of the cars makes the roads look one-way. For a while, I thought maybe I'd put two lanes everywhere, but the sidewalk between them looked ugly.
I'd rather you buy a parking space that came automatically with a car parked in it
+1 and please don't make it as a premium item
You know it's gonna cost donuts.
What if it didn't give a percentage boost?
Based on the above, I'm almost positive that parking spots with cars, if offered, will be premium.
Oh, I think I'm with you, it'll cost donuts because they are effectively an "upgraded" parking spot which would be the same as the Apple Tree (which costs donuts) which is an upgraded version of the tree?

Yep, that doesn't work. I did however use the two lanes concept for a "main road", which can be nice!

Hmm...I see your point, ok well what if they could be toggled on or off with roads or parking spaces underneath! (Think the costumes or christmas decorations)

Will have to try it in my town.

Apu: Clean up on all the aisles.
