I was thinking the same. I'm at the point in my game where I need to build Nelson's house but I'm dropping all my cash in land just in case.

I decided I'm gonna do another redesign (I was gonna start it a few days ago, but then I read about the Whacking Day buildings and decided to wait until after the event) and I think I'm gonna have to take out all the water I have around my town because I need all the land space I can get. I need more land!

But I'm open for EA to release more for those individuals who need it.
This as long as we get stable gameplay, then bring out more land!!
You may be right, but in some sense, I kind of feel like they'll have to. Assuming EA goes the way they have been and keep releasing updates at least once a month, and with all the different buildings and characters they still have yet to include in the game, at some point, it is going to be too crowded. Yes, some of us complaining about the lack of land space are doing so because we have certain buildings that take up a LOT of space with decorations and ideas, but this is still a solely city building game, so unless they ultimately want to take out the creativity (which is what this game relies on), where everybody has the same strips of roads, blocks of land, and all the buildings just planted in a row, they'll have to increase the land size eventually. I wont hold my breath that it comes soon, though.
