Do you ever do anything "funny" with your town layout?
Hey there!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who likes to inject their weird sense of humor into their town layouts.
For example, I have the Damaged SNPP building skin I got from the store. I built an entire "exclusion zone" around it (reminiscent of what they've done in real life with Chernobyl and Fukushima). But in said zone, I put all of my "weird" items, like some of the Rigellian plants, the "assorted horse parts" barrel, the ridiculously expensive decorations like the Escalator to Nowhere, the abandoned spooky looking halloween buildings, some of the weird buildings I have no place for in the regular town, etc.
I also have the News Van "hidden" behind some trees near the entrance to the zone.
Most of my humor seems to come from placing objects in this zone, but not all of it. I recently got Wholesome & Sons Bookstore, and I placed it right next to an abandoned spooky-looking house and the tire fire (implying that this is a huge fire hazard).
But elsewhere in town, I got the Money Mountain located directly behind Burns's Casino.
So, got any "funny" object placements you wish to share?(or at least a placement that you think is funny; of course humor when it comes to this sort of thing is rather subjective).
I wanna hear them (or see them).

I have ALL of Mr. Burns' houses next to each other because I thought he would want to have different houses, but not want to go anywhere else.
I have Wholesome and Sons right next door to the fire station
Rat Trap trucks and trash bins behind my Guinea Pig Center.
Boobarella cave complete with arms, legs, and lady nest.
Lots more, these are the ones I still laugh at when I see them.
I put the assorted horse parts out behind the Gilded Truffle, the Impulse Wedding Chapel and Gulp & Blow connected by the same drive-thru, and if it counts I made it a point to place a Krusty Burger right across the street from the hospital. Need to do more of this stuff.
Lots of stacking sheep at my Sacrifice Your Sheep to Odin altar.
Bare Bronze statue mooning Big **** Skinner balloon.
Britannia Casino as entrance to my Angelica Buttons themed area of my Krustyland.
Sugarloaf Mountain tram goes to Kwik-E-Mart Central Office.
I put the burning tree in front of my fire station.
I put the outdoor stage on my Vegas strip...too dark??
I put the classy strip club next to the red blazer realty office.
I have the proverbial cop car in the donut shop parking lot.
I have gay pride trees next to the prison.
And the bloodbath and beyond gun shop is next to the wedding chapel. Can’t have enough shotgun weddings!
And a big mess on outskirts of my town from past events that I’m trying to get to!
You had me at lady nest.
I actually laughed out loud at gulp n blow....
my reaction to gulp n blow was
When I first started playing (2012) we had a lot of down time and I tried very hard to keep a tidy and decorated town. If you go to my original area you can see I was working very hard. Now that the events hit us so fast and I got so far behind on design it's easier for me to just keep adding rings on the outskirts with the new material. I really could use a month of no events and a nuke.
Messing with the Christians. I love Duffman partying down there!
The wood chipper is at the base, but hard to see.
