Limit on storage items?

I tried a search in the forum but came up with nothing. Is there a limit on the items you can have in storage? I’ve been using the rail yard to build track pieces that I don’t want, but I do want the 5 donuts your rewarded with. I have LOTS of track pieces and I’m wondering if I should quit building them? Thanks!

No, there is no limit on storage items

No limit at all. You can have as much you want to have stored in your inventory that you don't want out (including playable characters that you probably dislike) but try keep most decorations with bonus pay-out out of the storage which helps increase the XP and income.

In the inventory, there is a limit of scrolling in each category of how much you had stored but in the main area of inventory, no limit of scrolling there.

i think the gnomes are my highest inventory items i have, and think i have about the same of each gnome in storage. what a grind when Duff Gardens came out, used it as quick XP

EA had to keep the inventory unlimited because of the nuclear option. If someone who was just under the city limit nuked and there was a inventory limit it might break the game.

I got tired of duff gardens because you have to send 5 people there or it nags you to finish.
