Anyone Else Stopped Chasing %age Increases?

Replies

  • I will increase mine if there is room for it. But I have reached the limits of the game and could not increase anymore unless they increase the number max item count and the town area.
  • After a year off I’m currently building cash back to 9,000,000,000. And buying barbecues so I can remove my wailing Wall bonuses and other larger bonus items. My %age is MASSIVE.

But why? Why concentrate on so much in-game cash and donuts? There's only so much you can spend it on?
Make Nightmare Pile like Zombie Sandwich. All kids trick or treat at once.

I would guess it's to offer some form of challenge to the game when there's not much else left. If you have skillions of $ and donuts, you can o whatever you want, so you need to set personal goals to keep it interesting.

I'm not quite there yet and may never reach that point. I have about $1.4 billion saved - used a few hundred million on RTTs today to boost my donuts from 4000 to 6000.

I like the freedom to buy whatever premium items I want, but I must admit the game was more fun when I had to grind. There was more of a challenge, y'know?

That's why I'm the only guy who liked the infamous Easter event - it was TOUGH! :)
  • Mine is around 1700 if all the items are out. Right now it's about 1640. I am more concerned with being able to complete events or design areas of the town and stay under the item limit.

There is less need for in-game cash now when most things cost donuts or crafting currency.
  • I can stop whenever I want.

Whoa, whoa, whoa – I only accept cash, bitcoin, or GameStop stock.
  • Exactly!!!
  • I reached 1500 yesterday and finally feel I can stop. Nice to achieve a donut independency.

I am wondering why you call it "%age" and not just the percentage symbol by itself?

    I dunno - because I'm a dope?

What a tic.............we are neighbors! Howdy Neighbor!
  • I'm always looking to increase. I still buy items in the vault that I can use to decorate. My goal is to get it high enough that I will get at least 15 donut boxes for every 24-hour clearing.

  • Mine was over 5000 with most of my SH in storage. My town looked like trash. I recently nuked my town and am cleaning it up. Have enough donuts currently but no longer playing for donuts.
  • Mine’s at close to 1900. I was trying to get to 2000, mainly as a goal to goin the 2000 club, but quit a while ago. With the number of characters I have, and the xp collider going full time, I have plenty of doughnuts and haven’t had to do any farming in quite a while. I still pick up the occasional %increase from premium items and I may still get to the 2000 mark, but i’m in no hurry.

I think I average around 3-4 donut boxes when I put most of my characters on 24-hour tasks - which I do the vast majority of the time.

As long as I have more than $1 billion in the back and can generate a couple 1000 donuts in an hour or so via RTTs, I'm cool! :D

My town has looked like crap for years. I gave up on a well-designed town a long time ago - it just became too much of a chore.

I admire players whose towns are neat and orderly - I just don't have the patience! :)

I counted today and got 7 for a 12-hour clearing. 45 donuts a day would be enough to keep my donut bank growing without RTT farming.

How long have you been playing?
  • what bonus % are you at?
  • I got my percentage to 2000 last year and spent many boring nights watching tv and buying rat trap trucks so I'd never have to do it again. I then packed up any deco with a modifier that wasn't part of a design.

I just checked, and I'm at 800% now. I was surprised it was still that high, but I made a point of making designs with wailing walls, apple trees, billboards, and the like. With all the glitches in this game, i can still sneeze in my town and get free donuts.
  • I must be doing it wrong, 473%, $0.8b, 1.7k donuts and I dont care.

Maybe because I’m already an over achiever in my real life I dont need to do it in games I use as a distraction, something to slow me down and chill for a bit.
