I looked it up. Wailing walls were craftable in 2015 for 250 brains :o:D
    That was a deal!!!

Yup! I started playing Christmas 2014 so that was my first Halloween. I lucked out and crafted a bunch of wailing walls. I bought only one this time around because of my design.

Someone else mentioned that the JetBike are a better buy, are they though? I thought I saw someone else say that Wailing Walls are much better because they pay out cash as well as give a big bonus.

A lot of us don't need the cash and XP anymore, but when the jet engine bike is in the vault I believe it is the best deal 30 donuts for 2 percent?
EDIT: it may be 20 donuts. I forget

Oh really?! One of my neighbors has a whole slew of them in the corner somewhere in their town. Now I understand why! I'm only at 738% (aiming for 1000%) I will def try to snag a few if that deal comes around! Thank you for the info @johncolombo :)

You're welcome. My multiplier is over 2000 percent. Plenty enough for me. ;)

  • I spent 250,000 donuts to add 11,250% to my multiplier. I've been farming donuts for 2 years waiting for the wailing walls to show up. I would add more, but I am near the item limit

    So what is your goal?

I wanted to get my multiplier to 5 figures like Jabba and sean186. I've accomplished that and then some. I can generate 600 million in cash each day from the wailing walls alone, so I will have more than enough cash and donuts. The only thing left to do is play with the design aspects of the game.

@BlackFloppyDisk :+1::+1::+1: . By the way it is 168 and not 186. The meaning is very different. The former means Prosperity all the way. The latter means Once Prosperous you fall.

I added 270 wailing walls for the current event in case I needed them in the final design.

I look for items that are a percent increase at 10-20 donuts. That is pretty uncommon. Things like the chalk outlines come to mind.

The jet bike, with its discount, is 20 donuts for 2% (10:1). That's excellent, the wall i think is 18:1. People have said the mystery box is 8:1. My horrible luck has illustrated otherwise, so i don't play with that box.

The jet bike is in the vault now. It is only there a week at a time i think

The recurring comment here seems to be to increase your multiplier and everything gets easy. So I'm up to 557% now. Jet bikes add 100% per 1k donuts. So all i need is...4000 donuts? Ugh. That's like 8 major harvests at about $50M each
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

@Jabba0the0hutt is also a hard core multiplier king that could probably challenge you.
  • The BBQ Pig is 45 Donuts for 2.50%

  • I removed the old plant walls and iron fences from around my 3 old Halloween areas and replaced them with WW's. I reduced my item count and got my bonus from 2700 to just over 3000%. I can't wait to collect from all those WW's tomorrow :D

I've bought 9 of them, which is slightly more than I anticipated I was going to purchase.

But, buying all these Wailing Walls has pushed my XP percentage to over 900%.

  • I bought about 8 or 10. Since they first came out i’ve Been working working on a border wall for my town using wailing walls and spooky walls. Just needed a few more to finish the bottom part, although I have had to substitute cobblestone for the spooky walls. Maybe they’ll bring those back too. Still looks pretty good though.🙂.
  • DMV Limos in the vault for 35 donuts after rebate. 2.25% multiplier. I dont farm exp but if I did I'd be inclined to make a whole parking lot full of them. They look better than jet engine bikes, they dont take up much space and blend naturally in SF. My two cents.

  • I want to replace all Billboards Itchy and Scratchy, from Mr. burns on the Weeping wall. My percentage will increase.Number of buildings reduced. In the inventory for about 900 billboards.I continue to remove them.Put the machine with mousetraps, buy the wall.
  • 1000 donuts for a 45% multiplier boost.

Mystery boxes would double over that

It's an aesthetic choice, a coin flip basically. Because I've aleady mostly built back the donuts spent, and going forward your suggested extra multiplier boost from mystery boxes will be balanced out by the extra daily donut boxes I'll get from the Wailing Walls' huge payout in money & XP, which acts as a double driver for my donut total, raising it up just the same. Meanwhile having a massive purple brick monolith of Walls also happens to be much more fun than having a passive parking lot of jetbikes and thrice damned bigboy donut shops. So it's a wash, and I chose the preferable option for me.

Now Maybe you guys purchased a gazillion billboards to where the math favors your method heavily or something, but not at the meager level of purchase I'm involved in, just a paltry 40 walls added to my wailing glacier. If I'd done the mystery boxes I wouldn't have noticed the difference today.
