"Viewing" friends towns

Just wondering,,,,,,,,,, when you go to your friends towns, do you

A,,,,,, just tap until quota is met
B,,,,,,,actually look around to see how they did stuff
C,,,,,,, get aggravated lol and skip them

I try to check out each of my friends pretty close at least once a week (depending on how much time i have) to see what, why and how they did stuff. Some people are pretty creative and have some really cool towns, then others just put the crap anywhere it fits lol. I'll admit, I have taken more than a few ideas to adapt to my town.

Just wondering what you do ?

To me this game is all about designing and creating so yes, I do like to linger around and see what others are doing. Some are very inspiring and some are easy to hit the "next" button after a couple of minutes but I respect everyone who uses their imagination in their town.

I really enjoy exploring high level towns. And visiting new tiny Springfields, they grow so fast

Some people's towns are a real MESS during events when they just shove things anywhere - then afterwards they sort it out.

And ever since the Krustyland thing almost everybody is having trouble with their Krustyland.

ex: i might choose SH and go visit all neighbors there one day and the next day might be

this seems to give me good and regular coverage of neighbors towns, personally like to see neighbors towns but i don’t visit daily though

I hardly ever visit between events, Im a terrible neighbor. But when I do I enjoy checking out what my neighbors have been up to. I dont have a lot of neighbors (30 or so) and when I do add a new on I'll spend a few days checking out their town, a little at a time. I also like adding newbies, and watching their towns grow and develop.

When I do visit, I will go to a few corners of the town to tap and also to look at the layout. I do not visit daily now as cash is at a maximum

If you think I'm bad in the game, you should try living next to me. I would never mow my lawn, if I had one, and have loud parties till all hours of the afternoon! The guy down the street with the meth lab really hates me

I very rarely visit neighbours to tap them, unless it’s during an event. But I spend a lot of time browsing around their towns and seeing what they’ve done with certain stuff (but I’ll always tap while I’m there)

My main point to playing this game has always been decorating and designing and I just love looking at well designed towns. I’ve always had a clean, tidy and well designed town so I love having my select neighbours who do the same. As vein as it sounds, they’re the only neighbours I keep. People with messy ‘dumped’ towns get deleted

I'm the same way. Although recently I havent had as much free time as in the past, so items I aquire during an event get "dumped" to a spot I have set up for that purpose, a staging area if you will, until I have time to work them in.

It would be kinda cool if there was some sort of automatic postcard feature involving your neighbors.
How would it work? Once in a while while in the game you would receive a postcard from a neighbor, not one they that sent, but one that the EA servers sent. The postcard would show a snapshot of a small portion of their town, specifically a portion that was recently fiddled with design-wise. The point would be to encourage you to visit their town.
Obviously this will never be done, especially since it's ripe for abuse (i.e. people spelling out certain things and then someone getting a **** postcard). But it would be a fun little feature.
