What is your overall goal for playing this game?

Prev1
It's interesting.. I'm a long time simpsons fan, but a complete addict when it comes to this game. I'm also not quite sure why. it's a chore to click on characters and have them perform endless tasks. I can't say I enjoy that part at all. but I find myself doing it to obtain money mostly.

I splurge and bought up to 10 tokens for black friday.(I really wanted to get Dredrick Tatum, and with all those chances at those mystery boxes, I knew I could most likely get him as well as others.

After my purchases It's become way too much of a chore to send people everywhere. My socialism rating is going down because it's a chore to click on everyones land as well as continuing to do 60 minute tasks.
my land was getting super crowded and yeah I'm not sure what the overall goal is for me. I'm performing an endless tasks which i hate doing.(assigning jobs), and I'm getting the money I need and slowly getting to where I want to be, but when does it end? Will I be done with the game once I setup my springfield to look how I want it? Will there always be new characters? I know I have a list of a hundred or so characters I want. I'm not even sure they are actually in the game but I can see myself playing as long as they keep getting released

guys + buildings like:

Cowboy Bob and his RV business
Mini Putting Land
Wendell
Brittany Brockman
Collin
Radioactive man + fallout boy
Gabo
Frank Grimes + Frank Grimes Jr
Jacques(have him tie into some tasks with the bowl o rama)
Princess Kashmir
Julio
Captain Lance Murdock
Plopper
Military Guy w/ 1 Arm.
Lucious Sweet
Larry Burns

So I guess my question for everyone is... Do you guys enjoy assigning tasks? and taping to redeem money? if not what is the overall goal for you? at what point do you stop? if ever? lol

  • Do you not use the employment office to assign all tasks. It takes seconds to assign everyone, so no assigning tasks is not a time issue or concern for me. The end goal. Have fun playing.

  • Honestly... I'm level 112 or so and I don't have the employment office. was spamming KEMs. so I'm behind on a few tasks. what do I need to do to get the unemployment office?

Building prices and build times from level 10. NOTE: You may not receive quest lines for buildings in the order listed.
Buildings in BLUE are for squidport, RED are for Krustyland, YELLOW do not have a task to build them and GREEN require Springfield Heights materials.
Quests for buildings will not unlock until prerequisite quest lines have been completed. Event related quests may take precedence over main quest lines. Levels shown are the minimum XP level ( game level ) required.

  • My original goal was to recreate SF like the show's opening credits. Which I did, ages ago. Now my goal is to kill time. This is a time wasting game. That's all. If you want to build your own SF, you can, but it's not even required.

I like the characters, I like some of the dialog, and I like town building. So I continue to play daily for like 5 years. But I assign characters using the employment office, and usually put them on 12hr cycles for premiums and 24hr cycles for non premiums. I farm a batch of about 120 KEMs, probably 4x daily, with the collider running continuously.

I also like to create cute scenes and share them with other town builders. I've built my bonus rate to 600% and I'm just under the max feature limit, so I am just waiting for more land to release, while enjoying each new event to see what's the latest theme. And it used to be fun to discuss it all here, but lately not so much.

This is a game. Idk why some people create such high expectations of it. Play if it's fun. When it's work instead of fun, put it down and step away.

    Happy tapping!
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

Oh man I'm working on my evergreen terrace right now but i'm really curious to see yours or atleast see your past scenes from the opening shows

Its a game, but honestly it's a strange game in the sense I'm not sure what I'm trying to accomplish.

@RoyCisneros1 I was only trying to help, you did actually ask what you needed to do to get the UO - do all the quests and primary buildings up until level 37.

yeah no worries. i backspaced way too much of my message.

I meant to say I seen that before but when I first looked at it, I didn't think of an "Unemployment Office" as a fun or must have piece. Only thing I really noticed when i first looked on the list. was burns manor, springfield elementary, and a few other landmark pieces. I'm missing a bunch of stuff for my level. I think sending everyone to work on Heights resources, and events is what has been hurting me.

I appreciate the bump up because atleast I know where I'm at quest level wise.

last few things I got was the business mans social club, buddhist temple, wiggum house so looks like although I'm level 112 I'm lilterally at around level 27 as far as quest lines go.
  • @RoyCisneros1 No problem, it can be a bit overwhelming at the start of the game, knowing what to do as a priority. Doing the level quest lines would help you a lot by getting new characters and buildings in your game and quests for levels only go up to level 60.

  • to have fun.
  • I play to win.
  • To catch them all

    Wait wrong game...
  • Just to have fun. This is going to sound SUPER SILLY but I'm waiting for them to release all the land possible so it will look like one big rectangle. Someone else on here said they'd take a picture of their whole town and turn it into a puzzle. And I love that idea. I hope that one day I can do the same :)
  • For me it’s just a creative outlet and a great stress reliever. Forever people have been collecting miniatures, building model railroads, etc. as way to create a world that they can control (as compared to that annoying one outside). This “game” has done a wonderful job of that for me and I really hope I never find a goal that needs to be achieved.

My goal is to conquer all humanity as we know it and create an army of mutant hedgehogs
  • To me it's become a part of my daily routine...and I wouldn't change it for the world!

Also, I refuse to grow up...
  • For me it's all about design. I never get bored because there are always new items to design into my town. I am extremely fussy about what goes in and don't care about bonus %, cash payout or xp. I have characters in my inventory, such as Drederick Tatum, simply because I don't like the decoration he comes with. I even have items in my inventory that I do like but I can't fit them into the design yet. I'm not so bothered about the game play as such but will grind events to get items that I want. Basically design above everything.
  • I play for the PVP.. best PVP game ever.

Getting as many donuts as possible, while still having a nice town with a high multiplier. Also collecting everything that is released and rush everything with donuts.. I recently crossed the 50,000 donut maker, and want to get to 100,000 donuts.
  • Wait a minute, there’s a goal for this game? There was nothing about goals in the instruction manual. Here I’ve been playing just for the fun of it and now I have to worry about goals? Bummer, man.
