A question mostly for long time players.

When I first started playing it seemed to me that when you visited your neighbors you could see the names of your neighbors other friends hovering above the buildings after they had tapped them. Knowing my memory, it might not the case. I’m asking because I need to know if it was TSTO or some other game.

  • When you tap handshakes and graffiti the name of whoever visited you floats above it.

    Often disabled during events.
  • Hey neighbour, I don't recall this feature or any way to see your neighbours' friends but perhaps a bug existed way back when.

Not what I’m talking about. I mean seeing the names of your neighbor’s neighbors in their town when you visit.

i haven't exactly been the greatest neighbor over the years... but to my knowledge, this has never been the case.

Nope. Much has changed over the years, but you've never been able to a neighbor's neighbors. Hope this helps.

  • Now that you mention it. I think this was a thing.

You could see which other neighbours did what in your neighbours towns.

The names are on the scroll screen, so why add extra code to display it in town?

You get a friendship handshake which shows what a neighbor did during non event activities. Or a mop if they vandalize in your town but never in other neighbor town.

during Clash of clones when battling you were sent to random towns that weren't your neighbors and if someone had a battle with you it was also a random player, not a friend. Also at one time we were getting random taps in our town from non neighbors on occasion (glitch?)

Am thinking if there was a bug before like this it was either from Clash of clones of from the multiple handshakes thing. Either way it wasn't supposed to happen.

neighbors' neighbors' neighbors visits leave neighbors without neighbors' neighbors' neighbor's handshakes in neighbors' towns.

  • I remember this feature because I got a couple of friends this way. It was a couple of years ago.
