Try logging out, see if you can play anonymously. If you have a second device, try from there too. Then re log in with a fresh input of user and pw, in case the saved info was corrupted. Also check your network connection is ok and not something silly like airplane mode is on. Good luck.

What exactly is happening? Log out and log back in. For me, I had to download 2G of data daily this past week even though I have 40G of free space. Today no problem, but if I have to download 2G of data again, I am done with this event.
I've had this issue for 3 days in a row now. I open the game when I wake up and it asks me to enter my age and then proceeds to update the game for about 5-10 minutes. It's similar to the big update we had before the Christmas event started. It only does this once a day in the mornings. What can I do about this?

That usually happens when a device doesn't have a lot of free space. Is your phone/tablet's storage almost full?
If it is free up some space and that problem will go away.
