If this was directed at me by anychance then sorry.

I simply give them a nice hint to not post those add me threads and use the other already made one. There needs to be a defined set of rules for this forum which there is currently not.

And I stick with the point of people making senseless posts to go up.

You can still just about find interesting things if you search about - I'm almost just as guilty as a lurker. From this day, I will contribute too!

There should be a 'Find friends' sub forum.

Doesn't your second paragraph contradict your first? Are you complaining about all the friends threads or the people who complain about them?

And in the absence of mods, we are the bosses. The community has to moderate itself if there's no one with administrator privileges to do it.

Finally, around the endless 'add me!' threads there are plenty of new topics from regular users and some kind of community here otherwise we wouldn't be coming back.

Apparently we are only supposed to talk about our wish list for new items. Because that wouldn't get old like the add me threads.

Just to make the same obvious point that others have already made -- this forum needs a moderator. Sadly, given EA's indifference both to this board and to this game, this place is likely to remain unmoderated. We can formlate rules for what we consider to be reasonable behavior, but getting people to comply is going to be impossible. Perhaps the best that can be done is to lead by example.
