Game Ending?
1) EA allows and codes for donut farming no longer requiring cash spending
2) EA opens up a ton of new land for tokens
3) EA provides building that generates donuts
4) EA provides building that generates land tokens
5) EA adds conversion of 1 land token for a dozen donuts
6) EA adds ability to take full image portrait of our towns.

Perhaps once the show ends (if it will that is) with its final season, the game probably will keep going for another few more years.
There is still 30 years (season 1 to 29 and some in current season) of stuff in the show to add to the game.
I wonder if EA is losing interest in the episode tie-ins as they didn't do a second one for the new year when Not Yet Cleaning event came. They normally only did 2 to 3 episode tie ins per year since the game started.
Enough already. Good lord. You've literally been the only one complaining about the theme of this event. This nonsense about "alienating the half of us" is something you've pulled out of thin air. The notion that you're somehow being ostracized by events like Valentine's and Pride are due to your own personal hang-ups and not EA thoughtlessly failing to take into account the feelings of sensitive straight singles.
Tapped Out gets updated regularly with tons of content. Every other month we have a major event & in between that we have mini events, tie-ins or something else. The game is not going anywhere.
I honestly thought the same thing. This game is only driven by capital from players. There would be no game(or a current, continuously updated game) if the players no longer have a reason to spend. Higher level players, the “whales”, that freemium games rely on are no longer spending cash for donuts. Farming is now practically all that’s needed to collect enough donuts to buy update to update, premium content. I mean, unless I’m way off assuming most committed players finally found how to farm, I see no real long run for TSTO. OR... They could release some other currency like duff beers as another fiscal stream.
This is weird though. We beg and beg ea to add more land, make donuts more accessible, let us capture our towns easily instead of screen shoting section by section then compiling them all together. But the second they do I feel like the game is ending ha.
Yikes! I thought you were joking about this before.
Anyway the game is fine. They wouldn't keep rolling out new things if they were going to kill it soon.
I wish I could ....love...this comment, instead of just agree or like
Me as well as others have put money and countless hours repeating the constant grind to be a farmer.
Anybody that says its easy is full of it. No way somebody doesn't pay a cent and says its easy lol.
To reiterate, read above. Farming is not some simple doo dah task. Not to mention people who have spent money soley for their multiplier which I actually have done. I paid 100 dollars just to boost my multiplier 300 percent. It was a investment for me to gain donuts from my time playing. I still support the game also because I like it. You act like people are snot nosed and have a careless demeanor. People that like and love this game do support it. Just to show... Hey... Thanks EA for making the Simpsons awesome.
I have never been that bothered about episode tie-ins, as I live in the UK and we never get the new episodes at the time, so they don't mean much, possibly the same for most players outside the US. We have only had one episode of the latest season so far. Sky broadcast the Christmas episode.
That's why they're putting so much time and effort into these improvements, because they're shutting it down.
