More MB needed??
In December I got locked out of my town because it was demanding more space that I just didn’t have available on my iPhone. After a week of getting nowhere (and missing the end of the holiday event) I finally got EA to help me. Now only 6 weeks later I’m getting ANOTHER message that I need a ton MORE space to get back into my game. Is anyone else having this issue? If this keeps up I’ll have to quit the game as I just do not have enough space to keep adding. I’ve been an active player almost since day one and this is really frustrating. :-(

The same thing happened to me a few months ago. I had a phone that was pushing 5 years old and it was so bad I would have to perform a diagnostic memory cleanser before playing...every time! I finally broke down and got a new phone and the game works fine.
I’ll be honest, that’s like a different language to me and I don’t really understand this stuff with MB and GB and whatever lol but it seems that I should have enough left to play the game? No?
8 bits = 1 byte. 1000 bytes = 1 KB. 1000 KB = 1 MB. 1000 MB = 1 GB.
I don’t know
Not much you can really do if you only have a 32gb iPhone. All you can really do is remove some thing off your phone or Its just going to keep happening.
Problem with Iphones is that it uses at least 9gb in order to work. There not really ideal for games the 32gb model.
maybe cause it costs a kidney to get?
My family has a phone plan and I know none of them will leave iPhone (3 teenagers will overrule me).
Foldable too, opens up like a tablet.
I finally got an EA rep on the phone and I could tell he had absolutely no idea how to help me so he brushed me off by sending me a link to info that I already told him I had that wasn’t working. So I’m at a loss here and I guess I’m not getting back on the game.
I’ll keep trying but it’s not looking promising. Funny thing is this exact thing happened during the end of the December update right about where I am in the Valentines update, almost at exactly the same point. The EA rep helped me then but I can’t get them to figure it out this time...yet.
That’s not exactly true. While the OS does use memory, it varies by model and memory. My old 16 GB only had about 3.5 reservered, where as my now 256 GB has like 20 reserved.
It is true, the easiest thing to do is clear some free space off, and Apple is probably going to require that anyway for updates.
1. Make sure you have updated to the latest iOS ( go to settings - general - software update)
2. Photos take up the most storage space, so go to Settings - Photos - iCloud Photos - Optimize iPhone Storage and select it. You will be amazed how much storage that frees up without deleting any photos
