Street Bowling?!?

My Springfield has TWO bowling alleys, and, yet, Gloria's 4-hour "Practice Bowling" task doesn't take place at either of them....instead, she's walking down the street throwing bowling balls! I mean, I appreciate that it's a visible task, but why can't she bowl visibly at Pin Pals, the way several other characters can? EA really threw a gutter bail with this one!

Apu also bowls in the street. Sometimes the animation is senseless. Fortunately it's just a game

They recycle a lot of character animations as it's probably cheaper and easier - Nixon also bowls in the street but I haven't checked if it's identical. They also have to assume that not everyone has the alleys from the pin pal event so those skins will probably be the only ones that can ever do that animation.

Nixon's 'Bowl Around Town' 4 hr. task is outside as well, which makes sense (at least to me).

Barney's Bowlarama was originally a free prize, but is now a relatively expensive (250 D's) Premium item, so the majority of players may not have it.
Pin Pals Bowling Alley was also a free prize, and I don't think it's been re-offered (?) so the majority of players may not have it.

they can do a if like many times. if you have that building it goes there. that deco goes there. otherwise visible

Well he used to bowl in the street, i even made a gif of it, back in August 2016. You can see what he's wearing...

Did you have the Pin Pals bowling alley at the time? I suspect that they all bowl in the street, if you don't.

If i have pin pals out they go there, when i store pin pals apu bowls at barney's bowlarama. If i have the bowling lanes set up for the visual task apu bowls there. Maybe he's out on the street bowling when all other options aren't available and he's in his last desperate hour as a junkie. He's popular, an influencer, so the other street bowlers are following his lead and then it takes off, trending on Springface.

With the lanes stored, the task becomes partially inactive. It prompts the inventory to open, and illustrated that you need the lanes from inventory to complete the task.

This action, of prompting a needed item from inventory, is a new feature. It wasn't always like that.

No, I don't....I got tired of being constantly insulted/attacked by Patric, and when Alissa, and even Safi(!) piled on the last time, I decided I was done posting there. I still lurk there (and once in a long while will "Like" a comment), but I don't post comments there anymore (which can sometimes be really hard when I see someone who posts a comment looking for help/info and no one responds and I know I could have helped).

In general, I've cut down my time commenting in TSTO-related forums a lot, but, when I do, it's either here or on TOUK.

RIP TSTO Addicts... Patric killed that site long ago... I was a multiple times a day visitor for years but haven’t been there in who knows how long, I wasn’t even aware it was still a thing.

Thank you - that's sweet of you to say! I enjoyed helping both the posters who had the questions, and Alissa, so she wouldn't have to answer the same questions a gazillion times on her own. I still feel bad about not doing the former anymore, but I don't feel bad about not doing the latter anymore.
