It's great that we finally have a "Collect All" feature but is anyone else disappointed with the limitations of the Sky Finger? It would have been nice if the refresh time was shorter (by about 20 hours) and it was able to collect completed character tasks.
I agree 24 hours is too long. I think it should be reduced to 12 hours.
I know this is a tapping game, but with the huge area and the amount of characters and buildings accumulated over the last 6 years, I am all tapped out.

If it was 12 hours people would be complaining that it wasn't 8 hours. Or 4 hours.
One thing I've always wanted in the game as a Report feature where it would show you various info on your town, including the number of buildings of each time length.
The animation made me laugh.
The timer should be four hours instead of twenty-four. I'll probably forget it's there unless I notice the hover icon when I pass by. It doesn't really bother me as I send a lot of my characters on task manually and when I zip all over the town in search of thumbs it clears loads of buildings at the same time. I like to leave a variety of buildings for my neighbours to tap if they visit anyway. I always feel a little sad if there are only brown houses and KEMs to tap when I visit
I end up worrying how useful it is going to because you can quite easily be tapping the building before the finger is ready again and then you think thats another one it's not being but if you wait the 24hrs then the building is getting collected less than it could be.
It would be acceptable for us to "upgrade" it thus allowing shorter and shorter cool down periods....but if they didn't add it in the beginning, why would they now?
Best case scenario, this is just the beginning.
It's like the teleporters.
You had two, then four.
Then they added Moe's teleporter, and the bowling teleporter.
If they add more "collect all" buttons, even if they have long cooldowns, then it would still work the way we want.
As it is, this does half the work of a regular dad, which is still twice the work of a deadbeat dad.
I gotta start paying more attention. This discussion is the first inkling I've had that Skyfinger Monument even has a collect all function. Of course, since I'm slammed into the IGC max barrier it isn't really worth much, but hey, it's time to stop playing in my sleep.
After all the years I’ve been playing, I’m so used to tapping in my usual route. Once the game loads, off I go. I actually forget about the Sky Finger statue until I tap into the area where I have it. It’s hard habit to break. But I like that it’s there.

I'm the same. I find I collect building income as I go about collecting character task completions, but it is good to have.
I love it as there are some characters that I keep permanently on task either to animate a building or on a particular bench and I don't want them sprung without my being ready to reset them. It would be nice if we could use it more than once a day but otherwise it's wonderful.

Huzzah! In that case, I can’t weight to use it!

Quite agree

Used in an ironical sense to mean legitimate, and therefore, in reality, spurious and not at all legitimate.
Yes Professor Smith, these citations are perfectly cromulent. chuckle

Its all covered in the guide thread here..... https://forums.ea.com/en/the-simpsons-tapped-out/discussion/241337/state-of-despair-guide#latest or in a bunch of other threads.
Hopefully I ge him from the mystery box then lol
