PSA-You can Still Complete Prior Weeks of this Event

Players who can only now play the event can complete the prior weeks along side the current week as long as they are done by September 4th. The event currency needed for the prizes is pretty low.
You can get Young Burns to help you out before he leaves the store tomorrow at 2pm GMT/10am/ET

As it is basically mini events put together, not a proper major, same as the last one!
You don't even need to complete the last section on any prize track, you just need to get it started, you will still be allowed to finish the section you were on when the event finishes.

The previous event I had a job trying to complete everything.
I think I spent 6 donuts rushing some characters on the penultimate section so the last one was started Wednesday morning? just hours before it closed.
Also, after the event closed I was still collecting on the last sections of the last 2 weeks of that event, I made sure that both final sections were completed in the same 4 hour period.
If I completed one but not the other, would the game still have closed because I got the last section on just one of the prize tracks?
I was not going to chance it, so had them working equally.

I think it was Report Card and someone else after it had finished?

Though anyone who is behind shouldn't fair too badly, both of these two weeks I have finished on Tuesday's, and considering the number of stuff I've lost because I couldn't finish in time, this is new.

Thanks for the update. I can finally start this now. Would have been nice to get a time extension too. I can afford to throw a few donuts at it to rush things but not everybody can.

Right there with you on that one, I could spare 6 donuts, or it might have been 8 or 10 thinking about it, but the amount of time and strategy that I put into collecting donuts is scary, especially as I'm freemium.

I was able to finish each part with very little effort. Start on Wed and finished by Fri night or Sat morning. And i did not do a strict 4hr game play each day, logging in maybe 2-3 times. It's very do-able. Though I did get the Gil deal which gave me Lil'Moe and Lil'Barney who earn 8 each vs the regular 5 each.

Agree that EA should add a "last chance" to the store so people can pick up the Gil deal and premium weekly items they were unable to purchase during the event due to this bug. Additionally, they really should have offered some "Sorry" donuts.

I can and will try to, but the problem is trying to do 4 parts in a week and a half with all the same characters doing all 4 events, will not work out to well. To the people who were effected but the glitch they either need to give them the prizes or give them more time to finish the part (not just one building the entire part 1 or 2).

You should still be able to finish it. You will have to be diligent about getting into the game every 4 hours as much as you can.

Well,.I've just finished with a few hours to.spare without having to rush things with donuts, despite not being able to start until the update. Oddly, I'm rather pleased with myself.

Finished it Monday / Tuesday, Just finishing off side quests now.
Though all the Bart screens were a headache, I have posted somewhere else so won't explain here.
