Holy tasks Batman! Does that really say 71? I didnt know it went that high
That's just my daughters old town.. I hit 177 in my main before I decided it was time to stop having them get motion sick for money and do something about it... cleared around 100 of them but then with the event and emptying out things like alter-ego boxes, I'm back up to almost 100 again...
I think I was saving them for something to do should there ever be no events or something...
I did not experience any lag after doing this, though
The lag was caused by the time travelers knife part 5 so if anybody buys Scotland Yard from the black Friday sale and experiences lag at this part of the quest to goes away once the live in fear task is completed.
They did the exact glitch with the button on another even I just couldn't remember the fix and I thought it might have been posted anyway.
Then when I remember it I thought for a while I only succeeded in breaking my game.

Every time I see a low level neighbour without thier XP Collider on.
As mentioned previously on this forum, that was my eldest daughters town that she abandoned a while before I even started.. so I now use it as a kind of 'sandbox' to check out things I can't in my main town... such as in this thread where I had finished the Thanksgiving event but could try to activate the button in that town... hope that helps

Go in to the hammer icon in the task list click the ? Then play. The even button should then turn up.
The lag I had is now gone. I think it mad related to the make citizens live in fear task in part 5 of the scotland yard quest.
