click the 4 arrows Icon then tap the river you wish to see gone and then click the red - in the direction you want to delete it

Click the button with the 4 Yellow Arrows crossing each other. Tap your River. You should see red arrows, drag your finger around the river, or just tap the arrows in the direction.
