This event is just awful imo, with its only saving grace being the Golden Goose Realty being offered again to players again to buy.

As for the rest of it, it just sucks - the story is easily forgettable, the prizes are meh, this events pacing is terrible - 9 days for most of the acts just feels weird, too much grinding required just to get even prize.

I am giving this event a grade of an E, that's how bad it is. I would rate it an F, if it where not for the Golden Goose Realty being on sale.

This was a good event! Love all the new characters. Oprah! I know, Opal. The circus decoration is awesome. Put it in my Springfield Fair grounds. Good stuff.
Make Nightmare Pile like Zombie Sandwich. All kids trick or treat at once.
  • I’ve just finished the event. Overall I’ve found it enjoyable but I’ve got virtually all the characters and I can manage to get on 4 times a day. With that it’s doable. If you don’t have all the characters to collect the event currency then it’s a real grind. It must be a fine line for EA to give us events that aren’t too easy that we will all moan about and setting an impossibly high level that we will all moan about! They’ve got to keep coming up with new ideas to keep the game alive. I think they are doing ok.

Failure for me, it was just like all the other grind this for that.

What happened to visiting friends, leaving eggs etc.

We are now only doing lame Grind, log in every 4 hours, rinse, repeat cycles?

I agree. Making the grind more time consuming doesn't make the event more difficult it just makes it more boring. More complexity is what we want which is what makes it a game not just tap, collect recycle.

I love my computer...all my friends live in it

There are only 2 items that I like: the Horse And Wagon can go on a farm and Cremo-Bot can go in rubbish industrial area.
    That's it.
I haven't got the final parts yet.

Not that I'm saying my industrial area is going to be a load of rubbish, it might be, though I wasn't preempting it.

I wanted to do it yesterday but I will invariably do it tomorrow (ish).
  • part1 finished, parts 2 & 3 left at final character (hoping we get the typical - "You can finish your current step"), and on 3rd stage of 4th part. Probably going to have to use some donuts to get to the last part before the event expires.

The unlocked characters should be able to earn currency.
The sending the entire group to the same building x 924 gets old, fast.

The last few nights, well, early in the morning, I thought "Do I tap" or "Do I go back to sleep".
I thought, "I'm near the end of Act 4" and "I've started Act 5", so I chose sleep.
I could complete Act 5 late this afternoon or it might be evening, so I reckon I will actually complete all final parts and get the characters about middle of next week.

I don't want to risk completing 1 Act and the whole lot disappears, so I will complete all 4 together.

I thought this was supposed to be fun as well.

  • I quite like some of the prizes but overall the event was just boring, nothing new from the last several events just dragged out longer, at least when we had to grind with the old events you got something (even if it was always great or wanted) with the new grind you just log on collect and send every four hour until you have a prize then start of doing the same until you complete the event.
  • Is Stogie secretly Obama and that's why he was winking at us?

I wouldn't be able to pass a quiz on what the plotline was this month.

Some are hoarding toilet paper. **** why. I got extra milk, green onions and yogurt for the apocalypse.
  • I ended up having to use donuts to get all the prizes. Not because I was pressed for time or the gameplay was too complex. But because I was so disinterested I would forget to log into the game until nighttime. In the past I would log on every four hours like clockwork.
  • I wanted to see how it feels to cheat and buy my way to the goal, so like a big shot billionaire, I bought it.

I'm thinking it can't all be for themselves.
If they are that bad using that much to blow their nose, then surely they're a goner.

Either they're profiteers and they're going to flog 'em for 20 quid each or stocking up on curries for the apocalypse.
Hope they don't cut the power, they'll have to be stored in the fridge.

  • To celebrate the end of the event I've placed my Springfielders on 24hr self-isolation inside their homes. Gotta contain the Osaka Flu somehow, until Dr Hibbert's vaccine works - or turns them all into half-animal half-people people.

The doom mongers were right, they said it would happen, it is all because of Brexit, they said if we voted to leave the proverbial would hit the fan, we did and it has.

Though I can't see how they knew, I think it was a fluke.

I posted a comment in "Has Tapped Out lost its mojo?", dated 8th January, saying that the EC required in mini's were about 100 to 200, whereas in major's it would be about 300 to 400.
But I was not thinking of such high values for every Part and every Act.
    THANKS EA!!!!

I only just got Clarissa, Abraham, Virgil and Bully Boss on Wednesday night / Thursday morning, a full week after the event finished.

Challenging is fun, difficult is not.
