switching from apple to android

Ive been using my Ipod touch to play since November, but I have an Android cellphone. Has anybody been able to successfully switch without losing their town?

    If its using Origin now, I would assume you can. As the cities are stored on the server side and all we are doing is loading it up to view locally. That's how your friends are able to visit.

    I tried it myself and it works. Didn't lose anything.

    Only thing about android origin games, is that sometimes your friend requests arent viewable.... if this happens just exit and relaunch the game and it will auto fix it. Had to do this a handful of times already.
